I mean... advertising your unrelated mods in another topic would be a no-no (and is unlikely to get eyes on your project either).

This mod is really awesome! New interiors, vehicles, outfits etc. 

It sure lives up to its name of being GTA 3's best modded experience. 

One question:Have you thought at any point of making the wanted level system much harder? 

I am aware of the fast tanks in tightned thrice wich make six star chases much more challenging than they were,but I personally think that making the police more aggressive, or have better weapons isn't really a good approach, since a lot of missions involve a wanted level and from three stars upwards the law enforcement vehicles drive at max speed and become faster than the player, so it becomes a lot more luck reliant whether you pass the missions or not. 

A lot of the time the police just rams the player suddenly from corners, or from the back until the player loses control and there's nothing that can be done about it. 

I've seen this with the challenge as an example. 

What are your thoughts on this Mr. Rob?

I think making a huge change to a fundamental mechanic of the mod, months after release, would be a terrible idea. This is the sort of thing that'd have to be done from the very start, so the missions could be built around it.
Not to mention, I've long since moved on to development of Tightened'reas.

Yeah, I know I wasn't talking about implementing it on the already released mods, nor the upcoming ones. 

I am actually against this idea, just thought of an option that could make things harder but not fun and consistent. 

 

I wanted to share thoughts on it nothing more cheers!

Amazing mod man, my first playthrough today and I'm blown away, I'm through most of the Portland missions now using anything and everything I have to pull through haha. I had a plan for a mod way back in the day which would have been in concept just gta3 but more. More cars, missions, outfits, interiors etc. etc. Playing this feels like someone's made it for me. I'm pretty keen to see this one through and maybe even go for 100%

What kind of crash is it; is there an error message, does it force close, hang on a black screen etc?

ye apparently there was a mod that i previously installed and forgot to delete, sorry for the time waste hope u have a great day

Hey there! love the idea of this mod but im quite stuck and forced not to play. After dropping misty off in Guerillas in the misty, my game crashes as soon as they walk into Joeys garage. Im playing on the steam version and no mods installed other than what you've supplied. Any help would be beautiful!

 

Figured out my antivirus removed something from the download. Its fixed now but man, what did you to the cars reversing in this mod!?

I believe reversing vehicles not working is a frame limiter issue, nothing I've done (happens in vanilla too). Always play these games with frame limiter turned on.

Beauty! i definitely have it turned off. I'll be switching that now and ill let you know how great/horrible this mod makes me feel

It's definitely doable, by design no speedrun strats are required.
People have completed most of it with a controller, but certain weapon-aim based missions are practically impossible without the accuracy of a mouse.

Hi Rob, awesome mod.

One issue I have on Windows 10 is that my vertical mouse sensitivity is too high. Horizontal is fine. Shouldn't the included SilentPatch fix this?

Also when pressing S the cars reverse very very slowly.

Not sure about the mouse sensitivity thing, there may be a separate fix for that.

Reversing, however, is likely to be FPS related. I would recommend playing with the frame limiter turned on (certain missions will be impossible with it turned off, anyway).

Pose Claude roughly in 3DS Max, use that and existing GTA art as reference for a drawing in Illustrator.
Not really much more complex than that, just takes a while.

_Rob_ bro how did you add new peds like the Buskers? I've been trying to add a new ped for hours to no avail. I added the DFF and TXD to their respective imgs and added the ped line in default.ide (I've tried all free IDs for peds 83-89) and nuthin. I'm just being told when I try spawning it via Grinches cheat menu "invalid model ID"

Love the mod. I've finished it at 100%. However, some feedback from me...
1. I presume gangs no longer attacking me is supposed to be an award for completing the game, however I could still see Triads and Diablos attacking on me. Is it supposed to be this way?
2. Sometimes I experienced a bug disabling my flamethrower from setting people ablaze, only cars could be ignited from it. What could exactly cause this issue?

Very cool. Is it possible to play something like this on emulators like PCSX2? If not, have you got any plans to make it playable there? Just asking since it would be cool; have seen plenty of other total conversion mods playable on emulators. Forelli Redemption is just one example.

1. Correct, there's even a message about it at the end.
2. Beats me, I imagine it may be caused by the "sprint with any weapon" changes, but I've never gotten to the bottom of it. You can easily fix it by reloading the game though.

No, it is not possible and I have no plans for it. Making it playable on emulators would be a massive undertaking and would result in a lesser experience as corners would have to be cut and content removed.
