!ATTENTION! (MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILER)!

 

I was wondering If you could kindly tell me Rob or any of you guys where to find these following weapons ? I'm really struggling with these here... :

<Portland

-2nd shotgun (know about the one near Luigi's place (in the corner)

<Staunton Island

-both shotguns (2x)

-2nd ak47 (known the one put inside the stadium (in aspatria district)

-molotovs

<Shoreside Vale

-shotgun

-sniper rifle

-rocket launcher

+ Are there more than 24 weapon pickups (in the original gta III) or no new ones had been added?

I just found 2nd ak47 in Portland and suprisingly found #25 uzi in Shoreside Vale by pure accident while looking out for the missing hidden packages. I'm not sure if any uzi was available to pick up on the third island in original gta III hmm....

I'm not really sure why you'd think there'd be the same pickups? To be honest, I can't remember now exactly how I went about it, but I believe the overall pickup count is the same. Unlikely that the amounts of each weapon type or the island they all appear on are the same either though.

Any created map maybe , anyone , or edited game code with XY coordinates Rob? :)' ? (No idea about that stuff, so I have to ask and count on that someone will be willing to help me out).. Sniper rifle didn't change its position on Staunton Island by the way.  I'm really looking forward to getting the exact location of rocket launcher at least :)

Any decent help will be appriciated.

PS. I do enjoy this mod , great job Rob !

From which mission is BF injection available ? I've just passed the "butcher,sailor..." and while hanging around Hepburn Heights between 0:00 - 6:00 still not see any..

I've been trying doing this once I passed "guerrilas in tha Misty" (like WAS in the original gta III). Apparentely no longer :p

Bro ought to have added 5-10sec extra in "cop to bean" gimme a break... insanely hard , got to stick to every detail if want to succeed. Might be too challenging... and harder than b.. , s.. powderstick maker even....     which is crazy itself

 

PS. I did it on around 50th attempt...  (can only beat it with luigi kart...) and barely.. (twice cause the game crashed right once I beat that friggin' mission LOL)

So... maybe v 2.0. might be necessary? (+e.g. flame thrower/baseball bat,rooftop left area at kenji's glitch fix)? :)'

Would be perfect to be able to see cheetah in im/export garage in Portland.

Nah, no need to change that. I've seen plenty of people beat it, both speedrunners and casuals alike.... This is a difficulty mod, after all, and one which offers several additional fast vehicles.

I have no plans for further patches at the moment, the issues you describe are very minor and the weapon stuff can be fixed by reloading the game. Tightened'reas and LC'01 are far higher up my priority list.

Thanks for answers , but I still have one (for the time being that is :)' .. what stands for iirc? .

I found BF injection only right after completing mentioned "Sayonara Salvatore" and never seen that car again , except for im/export garage in Portland. I wish there'd be cheetah as well with the rest of company :)' .. and of course some map / text with XY coordinates and an exact list of all weapons... sigh

 

it is possible to get most of the side missions after getting that very first one "Give me laundry"

and that'd be:

-20/20 Unique Stunt Jumps , you must die one time though (no escape from that tiny island , next to Cochrane dam)

-19/20 Rampages (the last one on one of the Callahan bridge's ledge absolutely impossible to get , tried everything, dodo, yankee etc.. it's simply no go)

-98/100 packages (the one in prison and triad's mr. wongs unless you'd use some additional interior modifications) , no sense ,no cheating... :) and let be the mod original , you must die 1/2 times however. with dodo could be possible , but it's insanely hard to land this baby on such small landing area..:)' , so almost NO way

(All in all 4times is minumum you must sacrifice yourself - Wasted opportunity is too cool not to get it) :)'

import/export garage in Shoreside , somehow I got pure luck by getting rhino when charging around and playing big boy by the Shorside Vale's hideout

BF injection didn't let me have sportscars at hand right from the start :p

 

I find these 4 missions the hardest so far

"Butcher, sailor, powderstick maker" -25th around needed I guess

"Bean to cop" -50th...around might be my nr one ever hardest ... preventing me from getting it

"Decoy"-10th

"Dam & Blast 2: Déja vu"-10th

after bean to cop especially ... nothing got me stopped...

Some speedrunners may have accessed or have already accessed the modification Tightened Andreas, it turns out that the modification has not yet been released and is only available to streamers or testers?

Tightened'reas is doing closed beta tests, with people I know and trust to give decent feedback. Public release is a long way off, still.

Why don't you make a thread about it and detail it's features though? It would be nice if people who don't watch streamers knew that it actually exists and is in development...

Because I get enough suggestions and "WHEN RELEASE????" comments on YouTube and Discord as-is, I'd rather not have another platform with them as well.
GTAF is a better platform for releasing mods and post-release discussion, than developing them publicly; At least for me.

theres just no Way around that New save game is there ?  i have to do a reinstall anyway but i had made some decent progress on the rampages and packages ...

Afraid so, yeah. Adding things like new car spawns with unique variables means old saves will simply crash upon being loaded.

The patch we're talking about is 1.9, that's the most recent one. Its changelog is also quoted in mikezilla2's post.

in waiting for the tightened'reas and maybe replaying thrice and vice anyway ,let me say something i really like your mods very good, impressive I should say! one of the best makes the games alive more than ever!!!

...but there's one anoying thing with no sense sory to say that: the wanted level after the mission ending! whats the point  in that?....make good use of load autosave?..or die once?

so I sugest to remove that if you will!

Well the idea is that what actually never made any sense is that just because you finish a mission, the police suddenly forget you exist.

I see no sense in removing that feature because at worse (with the autosave), it gives the player extra choice.

Postscriptum : The guys playing there have really something kinda Oasis , of course not that good though ;)

                      2: The first song stuck on me as well. Hell about the lyrics , beat and composition  is catching...

That last song on Plastic Nectar is "Plastic" from Island Xtreme Stunts, while the first song on the station is from the Nintendo 64 game Buck Bumble. All of the music on that station was taken from both games.
