in this thread you can talk about which characters, gangs or other things you think are equivalent between the three universes. I begin!

2.2D:Samuel Deever, 3D:Frank Tenpenny, HD:Steve Haines

3.2D:Brother Marcus, 3D:King Courtney, HD:Little Jacob

 

gangs:

1.2D:Vercotti Crime Family, 3D:Leone Crime Family, HD:Pegorino Family

 

brands:

1.2D:Fab Cola, 3D:Soda/Ecola, HD:Ecola

Michael's children from GTA5 and Roman from GTA4. They're both annoying but essential family members.

 

I don't know if it counts but I guess import/export missions from 3D and Brucie from GTA4.

 

Mr. Black from Vice and the hitman in GTA4.

 

Claude from GTA2 and Claude from GTA3, whether or not they're the same character, they're certainly equivalents.

 

Maria from GTA3, Mercedes from Vice and Katie from GTA4.

 

But in my headcanon really, "equivalent" characters are still different people. Eg. El Burro from GTA1 and GTA3 are the same person, but King Courtney and Little Jacob are different people.

[GTA-Biker]

I have a feeling Wayne's biker gang from GTA LCS are the 3D universe equivalent of The Lost MC (they both have kind of an urban punk rock-inspired looks),and they have a similarity with Uptown Riders in that some of them ride sports bikes.

 

I also think that those bikers from GTA SA are supposed to be based on Hells Angels,making them the 3D universe equivalent to the Angels Of Death.

 

Obviously,Families, Ballas, Vagos and Aztecas exist in both universes.

However,I wouldn't really compare the Leones to the Pegorinos,the Leones were the most powerful Italian mob between GTA LCS and GTA 3,while the Pegorinos were never really respected by other gangs in GTA 4.

- Romantic pairing with the protagonist
- Dramatic/Sad ending
- Family problems

- Is from the same family as a friend of the protagonist

there is a biker gang in GTA 1 called The Angels MC, I imagine they are the 2D universe equivalent of Angels of Death.
