It is similar. You first need to add them on Rockstar Games Social Club. Β For PC, press home on your keyboard and it will bring your Social Club, then click Social > Find Player from the left. Search their name correctly and add them. Then in game bring up the "Log / Player Menu" > Players > press E to go to the next row which is your friends. Click on the friend and send invite (they have to be online in-game as well. Β That button is Settings > Controls > Keyboard & Mouse > Key Mapping >Scroll the way down and find what button is assigned to "Log / Player Menu". (it's a different key for you.)
