GTA IV Multiplayer PS3 - Anyone playing in 2023?

I wonder if anyone else is playing GTA IV on PS3 nowadays. I am looking for some people to have some fun in multiplayer and I would like to go for the online trophies as well.

If you want to join me drop your PSN ID below or message me. Would be good if we create a WhatsApp group or similar to organize online meetings.

PD: please note we love playing the game as it is, i.e., with no mods/cheats.

Can someone start a discord group with just members from this specific forum where we can all play private lobbies together. I don't feel like joining a public session and getting my console bricked from some dipsh*t with a mod menu.

I've joined EL_FUGAS's community a few days ago and we had some good fun playing different game modes. I was not expecting to see a full game lobby again in IV's multiplayer! I stopped playing the game by the early 2010s and replaying it now brought back some amazing memories.

Also, most of the people in there ain't that much focused on trophies, so if you would like to go for any trophy let me know as I am interested on getting them too.

@RIDE2DAY I’m just starting to play GTA IV in a few days when I’ll finish San Andreas, would definitely appreciate the help with some of the online trophies GTA IV is a first time experience for me since it’s the only one I never got to play at any of my friends when it came out.

I played, but not now, I went there for the last time in the spring of 2024, and by that time the online was pretty lively, I even hung there for a couple of hours, but from that moment on I was too lazy to go there.

Currently playing online in 2025, so far freemode at certain hours gets really busy, races take a bit to get one person in, other game-modes are pretty dead.
PSN ( M16First787 ) should be online for as long as there is a way to connect (ﾉ≧ڡ≦)

Decided to pop in here for a second. 

GTA IV's Online is still active on old gen? (Xbox 360/PS3) I'm still impressed it's still open, last time I jumped in online was back a couple years ago when I dusted off my Xbox 360, Broken Turtle Beach X12's and GTA IV disc lol. Is this still active? I should get the game for PS3 and bring out my PS3, kind of want to revisit Liberty City.
