In game social media

Like it or not, social media is huge. I'm not a huge partaker in social media really, but I do love to check out community pictures that people take in game. So, I think it would be pretty sweet to be able to have a working social media in game, that way you can share pictures of anything all in game. They already have the social club where people can post pictures, they could just link it directly through an in game app that you can access if you want. If you don't want to do that, don't go on the app. Just a thought, what do you think?

Eh, I found in game internet impressive back in 2008, but now it's just another way of buying cars and weapons for me, and I don't think having lifeinvader send me messages about how it's my one month anniversary and it made a collage of my posts will somehow improve that experience.

I wonder if they should reference the Hogwarts Legacy "boycott" where Twitter users harass Streamers/Vtubers for wanting to play the game.

I do want to see more interactive use of social media. Sticking to the heist theme, imagine if we stumbled upon Lifeinvader profile of a rich guy, then we can use the information gathered from the profile to rob him. We can know what businesses/properties he has or where he lives. A new way to scout for scores.

Social media will probably not change much, but the role of the internet in general ought to be severely expanded for obvious reasons. I expect full-blown side missions, and maybe even some story stuff that will only be accessible through the in-game internet.

Weird how we had those kind of missions in GTAIV.

The job interview in the lawyer firm, set up the kidnapping of Gracie and the date to assassinate Brucie's indiscretion. Even throwaway details like locating the whereabouts of the russian whistleblower by going through his emails. 
Then in V the only thing that comes to mind is the donations to further the Epsilon storyline.
