2L8
Self-Explaintory: Missions that considered by many to be the "hardest" in the games/series are actually easy for you, and the missions that "easy breezy" are a sh*tfest for you to complete. I'll start Wrong Side of The Tracks a lot of people complain that Smoke doesn't know to aim properly/have terrible aim, but if drove to the Right Side of The Tracks (hence the name) Smoke aiming is almost aimbot-like, an even easier method is taking the bridge next to the motel, jump on the train and kill the Vagos as quickly as you can. Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend This mission is actually easy, the problem is either Packie runs to my gunshots, killing himself, doesn't take any cover, or running to a grenade I throw at a group. I failed at this mission on my first playthought like 4 times thanks to his retarded A.I.
Thomas Vercetti Esq
Before I started playing the various GTAs, I had read up on them and heard the horror stories about certain missions. Demolition Man: Having read that this was the hardest mission not only in VC but maybe in the entire GTA canon, I took a "layered" approach. First, learn to control the drone just by flying around the general area. Second, practice flying it around the construction site, without picking up the explosives. Third, memorise where the drop points were. Then slowly put it all together. The first part was the toughest - the controls were indeed awful (and this was on iPad). But it didn't take me anything like as long as I thought it would. Wrong side of the tracks: I think I passed it after a few tries. Certainly in the single figures. Supply Lines: Wasn't too bad, took some agility. I'm told that this is partly because a particularly strict restriction which was in previous versions of the game (amount of fuel?) was removed for the iPad version. Robbing Uncle Sam: I don't recall having much trouble with that one. On the other hand, there were missions that gave me no end of hassle. Cop Land in VC was one. That took me well over a dozen attempts and I only just got through it. I don't remember the name, but in San Andreas there's a mission where you have to control a remote vehicle for Zero against his arch-nemesis, which involves moving obstacles and so on ("Carl, move that barrel" or something). That one took me forever. I also got quite close to packing it all in over the flight school missions in San Andreas. Those were dreadful. Having said that, they made the flying missions in later games feel like a piece of cake in comparison. I can't at the moment remember a single mission from IV or V which caused me anything like as much trouble as those. E Revere
I actually screwed up Demolition Man too, a buttload of times. Back when I was 5, that is. But that was only because I didn't know the controls and I tried to get around only with Q, E, A and D. It took only one Google search to find out I had to use the numpad keys to make it a breeze. The mission is nothing hard. It's just that most people either didn't bother to or couldn't check the controls. I had an excuse. I was a kid, I couldn't read, and I didn't know English. I don't understand how adults who played it back when it came out couldn't do it. As for Zero's missions, I played them much later and I never had a problem with them. But I suppose people who did did so because of the same reasons as Demolition Man. psxdriverplayer
ChiroVette
I think that Gripped! in GTA III may be the most difficult single player mission in the GTA franchise, followed by Patriot Playground. In 20+ years of playing those games, though, they are quite easy for me now.

The game tells you the controls during the mission actually, but checking is always great as well. And the only excuse I can take for people finding easy stuff hard is that they can't read what the game tells them due to not having learned it or having a language barrier. 3 hours ago, E Revere said: I don't understand how adults who played it back when it came out couldn't do it. 44Orca
I found the plane missions of Mike Toreno the best ones, both ps2 and PC, had a lot of fun playing those. Many people find them hard. The definitive edition has worse controls on PC for whatever reason. Verdant Meadows Learning to Fly (Medals) N.O.E. I noticed that the missions that deemed the "hardest" by the masses are the ones with the flying/vehicle gimmicks, maybe because they either hate it or they find it hard/fusternating to control as a kid I quite disliked these types of missions as I found them boring/slowing the game pase, but looking at them now I appreciate Rockstar efforts for at least trying to add some variety in the missions

IIRC the fuel gauge in Supply Lines on one version of the game was bugged and emptied way too fast, making the mission just barely possible. For me, I don't even worry about Wrong Side of the Tracks. You just have to stay to the right of the second tracks, which will give Smoke a good enough angle to shoot them without hitting the train. All dead at around the second tunnel. Copcaller
Demolition man was pretty easy for me just tilt the helicopter and the blades will kill the construction workers. psxdriverplayer

Stowaway Vertical Bird I think once you "get" the controls, then flying is fun, but admittedly until that point it's incredibly frustrating. First time I played VC, I couldn't get the hang of aerial controls at all, so I absolutely hated any mission that involved flying. Second time around, it all clicked, and I would fly the dodo around just for the fun of doing it.
