Xegethra
Hello, I am making some changes to the buildings in GTA 3. And one of those changes involves using alpha textures. I tried looking it up but couldn't really find a solution. Alpha textures always let you see through not only the texture, but also any model that is behind it, so trees often look wrong. Well, I was wondering what I could do about it. Here's an image of one building I decided to redo. Opposite the Sex Club 7. The neons aren't part of the model, I put them on a separate DFF file infront of the building. But like the trees it affects what is behind it. I don't know if it makes a difference but I imported with it Magic.txd and the settings it offers. I have tried multiple alpha options and they all show the same way. Is there anything I can do or will I have to redesign how it looks? Or are there any mods that can fix it? I can't find any though. *Edit* I notice that if only one alpha texture is seen it will display perfectly fine and you won't see through the model behind it. So, I guess now I know that I'll ask, how can I get it to display multiple alpha textures at once without problems? *Edit* Wrong again, it seems to be at certain angles they work right instead. I'll put those images up too after the first one. *Edit* After all that I fixed it. In MEd I just ticked Alpha Transparency 1 on the model and now the alpha textures are fine. I'm still learning this stuff.... Edited February 8 by Xegethra
