Lub123
Hello. I´ve made in last days some textures, that were very low resolution and they weren´t at today games standarts (similar to the RoSa project from GTA SA). I just want to know your opinion on this. Here are some previews: Feel free to comment. Thanks for your feedback IlyaKostygov, Darth_Cruiser, gta111 and 1 other
IlyaKostygov
Sounds like a good idea in theory. But how this textures look like ingame? Can you show us some ingame screenshots? Only IMHO but i think that AI-Upscale not so good for GTA4 Textures. But for final conclusion we need some screens from game with your work. I think that not only me will be glad to see some pictures, other forum guys too. Lub123

I´m not using any AI upscaler, i remade the texutres in the Photoshop by using same fonts or the authentic textures from the Internet, but in bigger resolution (512x512, 1024x1024 or 2040x2040) IlyaKostygov

ReeceYoung2001
Looks good and a texture overhaul similar to ROSA is definitely needed for GTA4. Lub123 and IlyaKostygov

44Orca
That looks really good, nice work. I believe Rockstar will release a "remastered" version of IV at some point, but still they might not, so mods like this are really great to have. Lord Neophytes or something This texture pack is quite old for today´s standrats + only small amount of textures have been upscaled to a higher resolution than 1024x1024. MMU has almost every texture 1024x1024 quality or above IlyaKostygov and Darth_Cruiser

LennyH
These look wonderful, but the last time I checked, IV's Rage engine had a hard time loading textures larger than 1024x1024. Have you looked into this? In my case I've tried 2048x2048 road textures, they'd get swapped for LOD versions. Lub123 and IlyaKostygov 1
ult1matum
Looks promising. Seconding LennyH about whether the game will be able to load these textures properly. Any ETAs on beta version to download? Lub123

I tried to view it in Open IV and ingame too (will share some ingame images when i will have them enough). Textures are showing in much better resolution than they were before. I think they aren´t 1024x1024, but the quality in game have almost no differences in resolution that what i made in Open IV On 2/14/2023 at 5:48 AM, ult1matum said: Looks promising.
