Basically this is like a little diary or journal for everything that you've done in terms of choices in GTA 4 + Episodes and GTA 5, and in the future GTA 6 and whatnot in which form your overall timeline, who's alive in your universe, who's dead, etc.

 

You can do this in multiple formats, like listing by year or by game and whatnot. From here, we might see the most popular choices, see why people picked what they did, and just generally talk about how much we've f*cked up our timelines and who'll be joining the grave in the future.

I'll start and this can be used as an example / template

 

Italics = Changes done after story was completed

[] = Unintended Outcome however nothing to deny canonicity / This outcome of the event is unintended however there's nothing notable, for example a news article, which clearly states that what I've done isn't canon

 

2008 (GTA4 // EFLC):

- Ivan Spared

- Cherise Spared

- Clarence Spared (Knocked out during the Random Encounter rather than properly killed)

- Killed Playboy, Spared Dwayne

- Spared Dimayev Associate

- Can't remember but prob killed Isaac's Associate

- Killed Francis, Spared Derrick

- Spared Darko Brevic

- Got Revenge on Dimitri

- Spared Cherise's Abusive Boyfriend

- Spared / Knocked Out the Lawyer Against Stubbs in Communication Breakdown []

- Somewhat accidentally got Alex Chilton killed in an explosion (And then when she died, Go To Hell started playing on the Radio lmfao)

 

2009 (GTA: CTW):

- No Decisions Made Yet-

 

2013 (GTA5):

- Accidentally got Norm Richards killed during the Jewel Store Job

- Spared Ashley Butler (didn't run her over)

- Spared Clay or Terry (Can't remember who, probably Clay, accidentally killed the other)

- Spared Ortega originally

- Killed ULP (At least I think that was ULP agent in that mission)

- Got Daryl Johns killed during the Bureau Heist

- Spared Friedlander however only because I was too slow to get to him

- Spared Trevor and Michael

- Killed Stretch but spared some Ballas

- Killed Steve Haines and his Camera Man

- Killed all the Cheng Family

- Killed Devin Weston and his Guards like the bitch he is

- Sacrificed Hitch Lift 3 Girl to the Altruists

- Dated Ursula as Franklin via Phone Number.

- After 5 "dates" with Ursula, I met her random encounter as Trevor and sent her to the Altruists

- Sacrificed The Lost Girl to Altruists

- Started the path to Epsilonism

- Sacrificed the Runaway Bride to the Altruists in a female tracksuit and killed the Altruists for $100,000 so idk if she survived or not

- Started the path to Epsilonism

- Saved Altruist Victim with Franklin

For sure. Online has retconned alot of the choices you can make in GTA V, and honestly that sucks. At least with V, they only made hints towards GTA IV's ending, but they straight up say what happens in V, leaving no room to make your own changes in the timeline.

I just spared somebody in-game despite the factt that you're supposed to kill them (Thanks to GTA 4's amazing combat system, I didn't want to kill the dude) Have any of you all done that before when you're forced to kill somebody you don't actually want to kill? Sucks they fixed the knock-out and get away with killing them exploit in V.

I only played GTA IV so far (i haven't got the complete edition yet) but here's my choices: 

-Spared Ivan Bytchkov in Ivan The Not So Terrible

-Spared Cherise Glover in Ruff Rider

-Killed Little Clarence in Holland Nights 

-Killed Playboy X & Spared Dwayne Forge in The Holland Play

-Killed Derrick McReary & spared Francis McReary in Blood Brothers (sorry derrick, but i needed my free 20k and get out of jail card) 

-Spared The Unarmed Russian & Jewish mobster in Portrait of a Killer & Late Checkout

-Spared Darko Bervic in That Special Someone

-Got revenge on Dimitri Rascalov in A Dish Served Cold

-Saved Roman Bellic & Got Kate McReary killed in Mr. & Mrs Bellic (bros before hoes)

-Killed Jimmy Pegorino in Out of Commission

That bros before hoes mentality goes a long way in life bro.

 

Also nice to see your choices. I think it's pretty cool to think everyone you kill and spare in GTA IV technically means those people are dead or alive during the events of V. Pretty basic same-universe logic but still, quite cool to think those people you save in IV are still alive years on, including people not intended to survive but you are able to keep alive, such as that lawyer I mentioned from TLAD who you're suppose to kill but I just knocked out.
