Slurper
What do you mean by Easter eggs in the game?
R_DeSanta
Definitely, although maybe not necessarily Easter eggs, but I still discover new hidden locations, hidden dialogue and other details every time I do another playthrough. There are so many details in this game.
D T
Everything has been scraped clean from this game. It has been defiled beyond recognition by the greediest of content creators. All that's left are remnants of what could've been. Easter eggs that were meant to be continued in scrapped DLCs. It's tragic but the inevitable fate of all Rockstar games. MaddenedGhost
Battlefield 4 is a game that had a huge EE hunting community, I'd say it was on par with this game especially since the devs used to add more of them with each update, the amount of stuff people found would make you believe everything was discovered, but the devs still said a few years ago that there are some stuff people haven't found yet. I'd say there's prooobably a thing or two out there in the game right now that some dev did want us to find and get a chuckle out of but haven't yet or will never do, not a whole lot as GTAV has been picked apart by the playerbase, but there might be a thing or two we missed or haven't found. Note: Speaking of Battlefield 4, that game is about a month and half younger than this one lol. Edited February 10 by MaddenedGhost

XMarqstheSpot
No. The main EE isn't solved, yet. When it's solved, we'll know. A hologram UFO isn't the reward. You don't need to search the web for clues. Everything is provided in a straight forward format. The Chiliad UFO is the next clue. It's telling you to do something. It's not the end. In gta and rdr to find treasure you're given a picture of where to go. So, where is our picture telling us to go? What matches the picture? Now go to the pictures location. What does this clue do? It makes a sound. What else makes that sound ? Go there. Now that you're where the sound clue led you. What does this clue give you? Lights, fully on at a certain time. What else comes on at that time? That's right, the clue you started at. But wait, there's more. It ain't over, yet... Moncastler
It was fascinating seeing the community working together to solve the Mount Chiliad mistery back in 2013-2014, but continuing this research after almost 10 years it's just a waste of time. GTA V is one of the most popular games of all time and files of every single release have always been under deep scrutiny, if there was a solution to the Mount Chiliad mistery someone would have found it ages ago! Part of the solution for the Mount Chiliad mistery can be seen in GTA Online where Rockstar reused content and ideas that were meant for the promised singleplayer DLC. Same things could be said for other possible easter eggs, someone would have found them already.
XMarqstheSpot
How do you data mine a treasure map? It doesn't do anything except show you a picture. You're not going to find a treasure in the game files linked to a picture of a location. People want hints from Rockstar? How about the treasure maps they put in gtav and rdr2. C'mom guys, we've been trained by R to play a certain way, but for some reason when we see the chiliad MAP, we forget all the previous missions and "go fetch" that Rockstar likes to style their games on. What mission I'm any Rockstar game has you deciphering symbols and looking in to stuff on OUR internet to solve? ZERO MISSIONS. If you're going to use the internet, use the in game/world internet. Our world and mythologies don't exist in the gtav universe. The ones that seem like they cross over are based on the mythology we've created in past games. It's funny though, I propose a simple answer to the MAP and people would rather write up long explanations why it won't work instead of just trying it out. People are so convinced of their intelligence that their only accepted answer of not being able to solve an easter egg hunt is "it must be cut content or it must be so hard that it requires one of the smartest minds on the planet to solve" Ego's. And I'll tell you guys this, people are doing the same bs in RDR2 for it's ufo mystery when its so obviously a treasure hunt. You find a frozen couple holding a map. The map leads you to the mountain where you find the other side of the map on a rock. When you put your back to the Rock the map lines up with the 5 cities. This is the first location. From there you see a ufo. It's your clue to go see the other ufo. You'll find your next clue at that ufo... Treasure... maps... Easter egg... hunt... There's still things to find... 3 faces https://imgur.com/gallery/LHW1ZLx Edited 2 hours ago by XMarqstheSpot
Moncastler
You think there's an end to the Mount Chiliad mystery, right? When this end is reached there must be some sort of reward, something like a special ability, an item, a cutscene or a particular animation, all things that could be easily seen in the game files. And, to check if you've reached the end of the mystery, the game must also be checking for some variables and then activate one or more scripts when conditions are met. Well, why hasn't any of this been found after almost 10 years? I personally think there are 3 possible answers: A. Cut content B. A hint to future content (Singleplayer DLC or GTA Online updates) C. Rockstar wanted to troll players with mysterious images here and there that lead to nowhere 52 minutes ago, XMarqstheSpot said: People are so convinced of their intelligence that their only accepted answer of not being able to solve an easter egg hunt is "it must be cut content or it must be so hard that it requires one of the smartest minds on the planet to solve" Ego's. I'm not convinced of my intelligence, I often put myself in discussion and unfortunately what I know about the world is very limited. And I also don't have a massive ego, I just happen to have a different idea that IMO makes logically more sense. XMarqstheSpot
That wasnt directed at you, moncaster. Just the hunters in general. They've accepted a flimsy answer to the MAP. Moncastler
