I'm  a new comer to GTA series (online) , I'm a Fallout/Skyrim kind of player, I've always known about GTA but just now pulling the trigger and am enjoying the game, OK that being said, after following all the info that I researched videos etc..., I first created an SC account, jumped into online to find I have access to 5 free cars, free 10 car garage apt, free mc, free bunker and over 10 mil in the bank  so I'm wondering if I'm still going to have a challenge going forward.?

youve purchased the criminal enterprise Pack? Its 1 million in cash not 10 million

No, there isnt a challenge anymore for you. The Frogger from the package is so OP its already over.

And the location of the Bunker. Wow, you will enjoy selling your stuff

Tbh: there is a long, long, long, long, long, long grind ahead of you and youve achieved nothing. Probably less

Yes I did purchase the enterprise pack, I was thinking it was the Social Club membership that added the freebies, As far as my bank account goes I went back in to make sure I read it correctly and here is my total sum without doing anything, $10,069,981.

OK here is what I got, I was wrong about the free 10 car garage apt, it was a 2 car, San Vitas ST.

Bunker - Paleto Forest

CH - Great Chaparral

I have free purchase access to but have not yet claimed

Maze Bank West and 1337 Exceptional Way "which I believe is just a  garage"?

I have not yet claimed the 2 car garage apt yet either but did purchase the Alta Apt.

The list of cars that were free

RH8

Grotti

Classic Corvette

Enus Windsor

Enus Huntley

I purchased the Armored version Karin.

All of this listed is without doing anything other than the purchase of Alta Apt and the Karin, OH and I did purchase membership at the casino.

Edit in, I guess I might could uncheck the DLC in steam and recreate the character, give that a try as an option if wanted?

10 mio is not really much - spend it wisely. But there is plenty of story content you might enjoy that was released with the various DLCs. The latest DLC is not bad to start with though you won't beat all missions alone at this level (your health is maxed out at level 120).

If you don't have anything else, then yes, it's well worth it. I got it for half back in 2019, but I already bought my Clubhouse and Cash Factory before that.

The Office + 1 Warehouse (I think??) was worth it for grinding crates+Sightseer+Vehicle cargo+that assassination activity. Got me to speed to 1mil in just a day.

The Bunker was okay, but as a starter business, it generates the most income out of the semi-passive businesses. Since you get the one in Paleto Bay, and you're probably gonna sell solo, sell on 1 bar of products only. You generate 1 bar after 2 hours and 10 minutes, basically 1 full bar of supplies.

If you have the Career Builder, it's best to just pick Nightclub Owner and pair it with the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack for the Bunker and other Businesses.

And by all means!!!! Save money for the Agency as soon as possible. Grind the Security + Payphone contracts back-to-back, then try to have 201 sec. contracts, so you'll get an additional $20k per 48 minutes. That ain't much, but pair it with the Nightclub and Arcade, then it's at least &75k every 48 minutes.

The CESP Nightclub + Office will net you an additional $100k every 48 minutes, too. Additionally, if you already have enough money, then get yourself the Farmhouse or Chumash Bunker so you can do multi-vehicle sales (Grey insurgent and Phantom Wedge) with enough time, due to the proximity.

The fully passive income like Nightclub Warehouse, Nightclub Safe, and Agency+Arcade safes should only be your 2nd source of income, you should be mainly grinding crates, Cayo Perico, and Payphone hits.

Basically what this guy says. I'm thinking you're not on current-gen, so use the 10 mil to buy either the Vinewood or Del Perro Nightclubs + upgrades, then buy MC Businesses for the warehouse.

I'm on PC so I don't believe I have the Career Builder at least to my understanding if I'm correct? When I created the character I never got that option.

Okay. I don't know that many stuff on PC, I thought it also got the CB.

You got 10mil, right? Use it wisely. I'd prioritize buying 3 MC Businesses in addition to the nightclub.

Don't upgrade your MC Businesses, ever. They're not worth it even on 2x money, they give okay sums of money, but the sell missions are tedious and risky even with friends, except for maybe the motorcycle and 1 truck sale, which is very rare.

Basically, what you get:

  1. CEO Office (+ 1 warehouse? Not sure), 50k every 48 minutes
  2. Clubhouse, 50k every 48 minutes
  3. Bunker, 50k every 48 minutes

What you can do with the 10M

  • Kosatka You get to earn at least $1.1M per hour!! But it has a three in-game day cooldown.
  • Agency (Useful while waiting for the Kosatka cooldown. You can earn millions just grinding 201 security contracts. Payphone contracts pay $85K, with 20 min. cooldowns) I can't tell you precisely how much you can earn per hour, since security contracts pay from $30-60k.
  • Buy nightclub for more $50k every 48 minutes
  • Coke Lockup
  • Meth Lab
  • Cash Factory
  • Vehicle Warehouse
  • If you have friends who're always online, get the Facility and Arcade.

OK great info, I'm taking note, can never have enough information and greatly appreciated, I like the versatility of PC over console connected to my big screen and I can still use controller, xbox or PS.

I noticed you mentioned meth lab, would you recommend that over cocaine? Wait... Coke Lockup is that the same as concaine? I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I don't know of anyone personal that plays so I'll be playing solo.

Thanks

Nope. Cocaine is just a little better. Here's a list of what you get. You sure it's $10M? Seen it and it says only $1 mill. If that's the case, then I'd save for the Agency or Kosatka as much as possible. I forgot how much a Kosatka costs, but the Agency is at least $1mil. So, get that first.

Yes I read that too, so I have no idea why I have $10,069,981 in my bank account, as I mentioned I just logged in with it. I wonder if it's a bug or glitch?

Then, go get the Agency and Kosatka. :) Ponder what you're gonna do with the remaining money.

Since you're gonna grind the Agency, you might as well invest in a Toreador. It's sturdy enough to counter a mk2 1v1 and win. It can take more than 5 homing missiles, I think. It's also very useful for Gang Elimination contracts and Rescue Operations. If you want something else that flies, get the mk2. But, I'm not sure if you can upgrade it from the Agency garage. If not, just get a Deluxo or Sparrow (need the Kosatka). You need two-seater vehicles for Rescue Operations, which is the quickest to perform out of all the contracts. Sparrow will do.

BTW, you can park the Toreador in your Agency if you want a quick ride.

EDIT: If you want to invest your remaining cash, buy yourself a nightlcub, and accompanying coke lockup and meth lab. The three best income-generating passive businesses for the nightclub are Bunker, Crates, Coke, Meth, Cash. If you still have $$, buy yourself a large warehouse. It's well worth the grind, esp. if you save it for 2x money weeks.

I'd ignore the nightclub but you need one if you want an infamous mk2

10 millions I would spend on:

Autoshop, unlocks all colors and tuning options on cars, allows you to play contract missions

Agency plus workshop, you can make certain cars nearly missile proof and with missile jammer, you want this if you play much in free roam, allows you to play Dr. Dre "heist" and various security missions

Kosatka plus Sparrow

A Imani tech vehicle to upgrade at the Agency (armor and jammer)

Maybe a Torreador

If enough money left maybe a Hangar with workshop to modify aircraft

^If he's new, then I'd swap the Autoshop for the Nightclub. The Autoshop can't generate as much income as an Agency and as a new player, he doesn't have a lot of customizable cars at that point, anyway and the last thing he'd want to do is overspend on cars, especially tuners since they don't have defensive capabilities.

Sorry, I don't like talking people out esp. if you're really into cars. But, the Auto Shop's only advantage over a nightclub are the Auto Shop contracts which don't pay much and take about 45 minutes to do for around $400K. Get it if you want to have a break from grinding Cayo+Agency+Crates. It's well worth it for the cooldown, but the missions are not very viable for solo.

Nightclub generates a little bit less, but it's totally passive. Good if you're grinding anything else. I highly advice you not to use virtual funds from real money into non-utility stuff, until the MTX paid for itself. Once you got the 10mil back, it's really easy to buy whatever you want.

If you want to actively grind bunker business sell that trash location ASAP and buy bunker in chumash, it's near the city with that highway and your far sales which give you bonus will be in the city. Traveling would also be way less frustrating even if you don't wanna sell but just do research for those mk2 weapon and other vehicle upgrades as some of them are very useful.

Please try to avoid paying for any digital currency in gta online. The game is past it's prime and you can find people on the forums and online to help get you jump started and playing the right missions.

A lot of people are responding and telling you how to career-plan in the game based on what you've already got. That is fine and necessary, but I don't think it really answers your question. You asked if you will still have a challenge going forward. The answer is yes, definitely. That pack you bought is a nice boost to start, but it really is the barest tip of the iceberg in terms of all the content in the game. There are many other businesses, vehicles, and (especially) weapons and weaponized vehicles. Even reducing that pile down to what I consider the essentials and a few highly recommended luxuries, it will cost you many tens of millions to accumulate what you will eventually need and want. Also, the stuff they started you out with is only so-so; most of the properties and businesses can get expensive upgrades that make them better and more fun to use, and also, most of them are not in great locations, so you'll eventually want to spend more money to move them so that missions go quicker.

Just join a public lobby, open your map and keep an eye out for every red blip you see. Destroy that and get rich easy.

Playing in a public lobby on PC has always been dangerous, but it's somehow even worse at present. Stick to Invite Only sessions for your safety.

It also depends what you want to achieve, do you want to make money as an end in itself, do you want to experience all story content or do you want to fight other players in free roam? Are you much into cars or planes?

Wow! that's a loaded question, not knowing much about the game I'm not really sure, as far as other's are concerned, na I'm ok solo, the other questions they will just have to come as I go I guess, I'm still trying to figure S**t out, as far as car's and planes go that peaks my interest.

Exsanguination

There will still be a challenge ahead, it’s pricy to buy things and you gotta grind alot. If that’s your thing then it can be fun.

I’d definitely recommend playing GTA V story mode and the other GTA games if you haven’t. Especially since you plan on playing alone.

I’ve enjoyed online a little bit but it can be frustrating, especially when you have to do missions with “randoms” that can be complete immature idiots most of the time. I always played without a mic and then I made the mistake of playing with one and stopped playing the game the next day LOL Fortunately most of the newer content can be played alone in private session though.

Really you just gotta dive into and see how you like it.

Hmm? Auto shop contracts are just two preps and then heist. It's pretty easy money, especially if you wait for Union Depository.

El Cavilldo

Some things in this game are interesting just as content (and horrible as cash makers), and being this game very grindy money-wise I suggest you leave some business as last option so you can enjoy them more once you're economically estable.

Don't waste time doing Arena Wars, Biker or Hangar missions unless you're already rich and find the missions fun. Arena Wars and Doomsday Facility should be your last purchases.

Cayo Perico should be your first money making activity at the beginning, followed by Franklin's Agency and Sessanta's workshop as interchangeable second and third business.

Then having a Nightclub and a near city Bunker as passive income would be good to have a constant no hassle cash flow.

Most missions can be made with a fistful of vehicles: Sparrow heli, Dinghy boat, a bike like the free Bati or the Manchez Scout, a weaponized ride like the Toreador, and an armored vehicle (the Duke of Death is free and a fully upgraded Imani vehicle would make wonders to your grinding sessions)

Do your money on invite only sessions, go to populated lobbies only if you're willing to shoot and being shot. Don't engage on futile combat with griefers and cheaters, them being ignored and left estranded when you change sessions is better for your mental health.

Unless you goal is a 9-digit bank account, I think 20/30 million cash is more than enough to buy a new DLC's content on release day, so don't grind too much. The Nightclub/Bunker passive money and a weekly sale on both business will give you more than enough to buy at least a new car or a new property upgrade each week.

And don't buy the Oppressor MKII: you will get used to it and it will downgrade your PvP skills, it will impair your ability to enjoy the map as a pedestrian/driver/pilot, and in this phase of the game you won't need it to do mindless 4 hour grinding sessions like a couple years ago.

Yeah, they're 2nd most profitable or 3rd. But, some of the missions require a lot of mental gymnastics like the one with the MOC and the Lost MC Meth Labs. Outside of those contracts, the Auto Shop deliveries don't pay well and they don't work half the time.

@El Cavilldo right. OpMk2 is just good for grinding nowadays. There are a lot of better PVP vehicles out there, but so far the lazer and Hydra are on top.

What I did while doing story/contact missions was I built up most of my passive businesses, so I could have extra cash after I finished story missions.

Btw, OP, don't bother grinding story missions. They give out around $30k max per run, but they're intended to build a story, not make money. You can do what Cavilldo said and save your money while you do all these missions until you can come up with plenty to fully upgrade your nightclub, buy a good bunker, good office, etc. Just don't bother upgrading MC businesses.

First of all, welcome to GTA Online in general, and welcome to the Forums! 🙂

Someone already mentioned it above, but please be careful playing Online on PC. There are some serious issues going on right now.  I would definitely avoid any sort of public sessions or jobs. I know a lot of people are not even playing at all until Rockstar fixes that stuff.

To answer your first question in the original post: Yes, you will still have a challenge going forward. If you plan on playing solo in invite-only sessions, certain activities can be more difficult when you try to do them alone. Difficult, but not impossible! Overall, just be ready to grind. Do your best to switch things up from time to time so you don't get burnt out doing one grind method over and over.

I thought I would share my thoughts on the free things you got with the starter pack. Hopefully you find some of this useful.

  • Frogger Helicopter: Get this ASAP. It will give you a fast way to fly around the map.
  • Paleto Forest Bunker: Do not waste your money on upgrades for this location. I personally would not even set it up. Purchase the Chumash bunker instead. I saw someone above mentioned it's benefits. Once you get the Chumash location, you will need to purchase the upgrades for it to really maximize it's profits. Don't worry about any sort of research at the beginning, just set it up to only generate weapon stock. Heads up though, if you let the bunker stock get full, you will need 3 or 4 people to help you with the sales.
  • MC Clubhouse: This one is actually in a good location. It's central to the best MC business locations at least. I wouldn't do any upgrades to the actual clubhouse, just save that money for business upgrades instead.
  • Cash Factory in the desert: This is a great MC business to start with. It's already located in the best area for sales. Try to get the upgrades for it as soon as you can afford them to maximize the profits. It produces stock pretty quickly. The sales missions can take a while though, so if you let it fill up completely, you will need 2 or 3 people to help you with the sales.
  • Maze Bank West: In my opinion, this is the best Office location. I've been playing since release and have not changed it. I know people have different reasons to prefer other locations, but there is nothing wrong with this one. It will give you access to special cargo warehouse and vehicle cargo (import/export).
  • 1337 Exceptionalist Way: You are right, this is just a garage. You can store 10 personal vehicles there. And since you got so many free cars with the starter pack, this would be a good place to put them.
  • Free Cars:
    • The Elegy RH8 is a great starter car. It's pretty fast, has good handling, and some decent customization options. When you have some more money to play around with, you can even take it to Benny's and upgrade it to the "Retro Custom" model that transforms it into an older style of Nissan Skyline.
    • The Turismo R is a good entry-level super car. You probably wont win any super car races with it because the newer DLC cars are much faster. With that said, it's a great looking car that performs very well overall. They recently updated it with new customization options too.
    • The Coquette Classic is good if you like old-school style muscle cars. It's actually in the sports classic vehicle class. It has some new liveries available for it.
    • The Enus Huntley & Windsor are pretty nice. They are based off Bentley & Rolls Royce luxury cars.
    • The Banshee is a fun car if you ask me. It kinda resembles a Dodge Viper and sounds great. Also, like the Elegy, you can eventually upgrade it at Benny's if you want to.
    • The Omnis is a rally car. Not the fastest thing in the world, but still fun to drive.

I turn off my mic because some autistic 15yo thinks it's funny tryna repeat or rephrase everything I say. I was with this rando when I joined the Fleeca Heist. This rando keeps making mistakes and I had to turn on my mic to tell him to just get away and ignore the cops. And he keeps repeating everything I said to him then having a crack at it. I've met a lot of people like this online, so IDK if he's getting himself killed on purpose. I only play with people beyond 30s nowadays.

I'd ignore the nightclub but you need one if you want an infamous mk2

Don't ignore the nightclub. I've made over 100 million from the nightclub, and 60% of that was just from the safe. The Nightclub is the best lazy way to make money.

Anyway, the OP probably has 10 million cash because they bought the package that includes a shark card.

I have a nightclub on my main character and all biker businesses but it barely got my invest back, doing a 500k sale from time to time. I believe you when you say you made 100 million by the nightclub, but how much time did you invest in it and how many night club stuff did you have do? I like the acid lab as passive income, investing 60k in supplies sells for abut 220k, which is 160k for little effort. Personally I do not like or do any of the businesses.
