Problem when opening GTA SA (a backup copy)

I created a copy of the GTA San Andreas directory to have another clean game to install other mods, but the problem is that when I try to open that copy the game does not open, it goes past the main screen and closes, it never gets to the start menu, it just closes, it doesn't even show "gta_sa.exe stopped working", it just closes.

 

Is there a possible reason for this?, the game is completely clean, no mods at all, the weird thing is that the other GTA I have has quite a few mods and opens and loads without any problem, in other PC I have already done this of having various GTA SA for different things and many people do it, so I don't think it is not possible.
