SeaWallTx Posted December 31, 2022 Share Posted December 31, 2022 (edited) *PATCHED* This video will show you how to bypass/skip the cooldown timer on the Dax and Yohan Mission, in GTA Online. (Works on all currently supported verisons of the game.) The founder of this method is my friend, SMILEYBRYAN.(on YouTube). Text Tutorial - -Once you are in online and have completed a Mission where you have a cooldown timer before you can request another mission. -Now to bypass this cooldown and skip the wait, simply head over to the LS Carmeet. -Then once inside the carmeet, get in your personal vehicle, or head over to a Test Drive car, and take it onto the Test Track. -Once on the test track all you need to do is call Dax or Yohan. -Now that the request job menu is open, you'll see there is still a cooldown. -Then with the menu still open, drive to the exit of the test track. -Now the menu will change, you'll be on the "exit to ls carmeet" option, but at the bottom of the menu, itll say "request mission from...". -Once you are at this menu, select the "exit to ls carmeet" TWICE.(Press X/A two times) -Then you'll be placed in the carmeet, and a few seconds later you'll be pulled outside and the Mission will begin immediately. -Now just complete the mission and repeat the glitch. -Enjoy Tip- If you do not like the type of mission, simply set your spawn location to the LS Carmeet. Then pause the game and switch to a new session and repeat the glitch. You should receive a different mission. Again, the founder of this method is SMILEYBRYAN. Too bad i spent all last week doing 50 the long way to get the trophy, lol Oh well, i have 80 completed now. Hopefully i never have to do one again. Only getting half the money is a price I'm willing to pay to get this sh*t done ASAP. Also thank you @SeaWallTx (and SMILEYBRYAN) for posting the workaround. I just want to get the 25 Fooligan missions over and done with for the clothing, and hopefully not have to touch this sh*t again until whenever they are on 2x rewards. Pizentu Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 I did 9 or so of these last night with this method and just had to turn the game off. These missions are horrible and I think the cool down is a great way to help you forget just how bad they are. The weed mission infuriates me. Even when Im able to find a spot to climb up and hide, the game still kills you over and over and over. Its stupid because even if you wear a radiation suit, you get drugged. If the suit can protect you from radiation it should also prevent contamination from the acid. 16 more missions to go. Dont know why I do this to myself. LOL Just open the weapon wheel and eat some snacks till it says your health is full, I never die on those missions anymore, also if I get the one in paleto bay I park a chopper on top of chiliad and then parachute down to the warehouse and destroy the weed. Sure you can consider it a waste, but with snacks being free in my agency, auto shop and arcade it doesn't actually cost me any money. Also while you still "die" at the end, it's just so you can respawn in the new location after the end of the trip, feels like it saves a lot of time not getting killed by clowns and then respawning in the air and falling just to respawn again on the ground and get beat by the clowns all over. Terrible world we're living in - people only care about themselves. Video game or not. What's ironic is I'm sure these have (or would) moan about the likes of MrBoss 'stealing content' without references to the originator. Ahhh, 2023 started well! SMILEYBRYAN has very few subs, and i was hoping to get him big enough so he can monitize his content. It took 2 secs to add his link to my description/tutorial. And i mean i still get the views, so its win win. But ig ur right, they just only care about themselves. It seems you cannot call Franklin at all (regardless if security contract or payphone hit). Something with Franklin not being callable in interiors maybe. Let your character die a few times until it finishes. (You know it's good mission design when the developer removes all agency from the player.)
