Mic ban

I've recently been getting a pop every time i join a session saying you have been muted by other players improve your behavior and this ban will be lifted I've never got this before its been 4 days now how long does this last.

try recalibrate game i think its holding l1 and r1 while game starts. prob wont work buth thats what r* tells ppl to do when they have issues

There is an option to report players for their behavior on the mic. The consequence is being muted.

 

I take a guess and the time being muted is as long as being a bad sport.

 

First time 2 days

Second time 4 days

Third time 8 days

 

And so on

Also? Try not being "that guy" with an open mic. If you're not talking with someone or conveying important information to other players, no one needs to hear you.

And if you're one of those players who feels sharing your music tastes, requests for more chicken nuggies from your mom, or that youre slurping down your 5th Big Gulp 1 inchnfrom your potato mic with everyone in the session, you got what you deserve.

I haven't said anything to anyone i play solo i joined a session and was in there about 15 minutes then went to invite only still saying im muted improve my behavior, its been a least 3 days now.

OK its been more than two days now I've recently upgraded to next gen gta, ive never giving anyone abuse through online in GTA i play solo, i was in a public session and said nothing, when i went invite only this message keeps popping up, even after i complete missions, been over the two days nw

This is either someone abusing reports or an edge-case bug, as I don't think it's the first time I read about someone getting a random mic ban.

Yeah i totally agree i also am thinking its people reporting me no no reason

Same yesterday with the in game chat.

By switching lobby it makes disappear but few minutes after it came back.

Its the exact same even when i switched to another invite only session, kind of annoying me nw can't speak to even crew members on GTA. Definitely been 3 days nw
