GTA V Gets Stuck At 24 Frames During Full Screen - When I Go Out Of Full Screen I Get 60+ Frames

Hi everyone! 

 

I'm looking for some help please

 

I'm running GTA V on a fresh install (GPU's are 2 1080 ti's)

 

The problem is I get under 30 frames whenever full screen at 4k settings and it didn't used to be this way. I used to average 60+ frames

When I press ALT + Enter to go out of full screen into the window mode, I get my full frames back

What could be causing this issue? I've already reinstalled the game & my drivers as well. Windows 10 is fully up to date.

 

I made a short YouTube video so you can see this in action, the FPS counter is at the top right hand side

 

In the video it starts out in the window mode and I'm getting full frames, then I go into the full screen mode & it drops

reset your in-game visual settings. If vsynch is on, turn it off and vice versa.
