What Existing Normal Vehicles Don’t You Want in GTA 6?

What vehicles from past HD universe GTA shouldn’t reappear in GTA? DO NOT list military, weaponized, Benny, or sci-fi vehicles. Just normal vehicles you think doesn’t fit the lore, repetitive, or is badly modeled. Including ones you believe should be replaced with better/newer model (New dimensions/exterior, not higher resolution and interior rework, since every car is getting the later).

Here’s some examples of valid and invalid reply (does not represent personal opinions)

1. Alpha - based on a concept car too different from any production car (valid)

2. Squaddie - has the same/similar real life counterpart as better looking Patriot Mil-Spec (valid)

3. Huntley S - model should be replaced with a car more similar to Bentley Benteyga (valid)

4. Issi Sports - Body kit needs to be removed (valid)

3. Washington - I want newer one based on Cadillac CT6 (invalid) (I will make a new topic for this)

4. Infernus - low resolution interior/exterior (invalid)

5. Banshee - used to be based on Corvette, now based on Viper (invalid)

6. Adder - rare in real life so they shouldn’t exist in game at all (invalid) (valid if and only if the vehicle is nearly illegal to own in US or impossible to find)

7. Any Coil - “I don’t like Tesla” (invalid)

 

I am making a list of acceptable entries so people don’t have to bring up the same things for the same reason.

Some of the early 2000s cars from GTAIV. These cars actually got newer models in GTAV, but the old models were also still in the game driving around. It's not going to be very realistic to see 2002 Cadillac Escalades driving around for example in a game that will be set in the mid-2020s

I wouldn’t want some of the older cars to be removed. Older Cavacalade and Shafters are actually pretty nicely modeled, and they are more common than you think.

Well I will cut all vehicles before year 2000 in traffic as regular vehicles. This needs to stop its year 2022 and probably will be year 2024 when its released.

 

Just look at US dashcams, they are all driving SUVs and pickups, bigger is better.

Damn, I had my money on you saying you didn't want the Fugitive to appear again lol. I like the new Rebla GTS though, much better looking model. 

 

This is an interesting question because I can think of a LOT of cars I'd like to see appear in the next game, but what I don't want to appear? Hmmmmm...

 

I do know that all vintage/retro vehicles that are based on old Muscle and Sports cars from the 50s/60s/70s/80s should definitely be extremely rare to encounter, or should just not spawn in traffic at all (simply relegating these vehicles as unique purchase-only cars would be a good start). It was rather off-putting when playing GTA IV or V to see a bunch of old Vigeros, Dukes, and Sabre Turbos just cruising around.

 

As for what I would not want to appear at all? I guess the Picador would be a start, I dislike the way it looks. The SA version looked much better imo, and the Ford Ranchero GT from the leaks looks leagues better than what we got in V. 

 

Some other vehicles I do not want returning in VI

Albany Emperor - This vehicle is getting a little long in the tooth and it just doesn't need to come back. I liked the car in IV, it felt much quicker and handled better than in V. Could really benefit from having an updated version of the vehicle being based more on a 2005 Cadillac DeVille

 

Albany Manana - Too goddamn slow, uninteresting, and desperately needs an updated model. Perhaps something based on the 12th-gen Cadillac Eldorado coupe?

 

Benefactor Glendale - I actually liked driving this car in V's Story Mode, it handles good and it's got some good speed to it surprisingly. Very fun to steal and rob a couple liquor stores with. I think this one just needs a new model to replace it, perhaps something based on the W124 or W210?

 

Bravado Feroci - I'm torn on this one because I got super stoked to see that it might appear again GTA VI since we saw it in the leaks. It was one of my favorite cars in IV but it's always bugged me that it wears a Bravado badge rather than an Emperor badge. Considering the name has an Italian flair to it, and Dodge is/was in a partnership with Alfa Romeo, I think it would be better served to be redesigned to look like the Dodge Dart

 

Bravado Duneloader - Why the hell was this even in V? Dogsh*t slow, the gearbox sucked, just an all-around piece of junk. How about replacing it with a Dodge Ramcharger or Dodge Dakota?

 

Canis Seminole - Not a fan of the design of it. Would be great if R* could design an updated model that looks like an almost 1:1 recreation of the third-gen Grand Cherokee

 

Declasse Premier - Needs an update, plus I just now noticed that I can't even remember the last time I saw a Chevrolet Cobalt on the road. Perhaps R* could turn it into a newer Chevrolet Cruze? Can't decide between the 1st-gen sedan or the 2nd-gen hatchback

 

Declasse Tulip - I actually really like this car and the new Tulip M-100 that we got, but obviously we don't see these much at all on the road anymore so we need an updated model. My picks are either for an 8th-gen Malibu or 9th-gen Malibu

 

Declasse Yosemite - Vapid and Bravado both have pickup trucks based on their iconic F-Series and Ram pickups but Declasse doesn't have anything for the Silverado? Come on R*!

 

Karin Rebel - It's a cool truck but I'd rather it get an updated model that looks more akin to either a Toyota 4Runner or the Tacoma since those are very common on American roads.

 

RUNE Cheburek - As funny and quirky as it was in GTA Online, we definitely don't need this car coming back in VI for obvious reasons. 

 

Vapid Bobcat XL - Although I've seen it appear in the VI leaks, I'd rather it not return and instead replace it with something resembling a mid-00s Ford Ranger or maybe the newer Ranger.

 

Vapid Chino - Not a fan of the design. Needs to be re-badged as a Dundreary and re-designed to look more like the 10th-gen Lincoln Continental. 

 

Vapid Clique - Uninteresting car and I just don't care for it. Would be better suited to be made to look more like the either a Ford Fusion or Ford Taurus

 

Vapid Hotknife - Needs to be scrapped and replaced with a new model, with a new name, based on the Ford Focus ST

 

Vapid Hustler - Same as with the Hotknife. Needs to be scrapped and replaced with a new model, with new name, preferably something based on the Ford Fiesta ST

 

Vapid Peyote - Same as with the Hotknife and Hustler. Needs to be scrapped and replaced with new model, with new name, preferably something based on the new Ford Escape

 

Vapid Radius - Needs to be updated to look more like the newer Ford Edge ST

 

Vapid Retinue mk1 & mk2 - As much as I love these fantastic little rally cars, it wouldn't make much sense to see them on Vice City streets. Perhaps something based on the Ford Escort ZX2 could suffice.

GTA V Stanier, It doesn't look like anything, everything about it seems off and uninspired. I think the whole vehicle should be reworked from ground up with more specific direction, most of cars In GTA remind you of something in real life, Stanier is god knows what, it's a MIX of at least 5 american cars done in a way that it looks like nothing. I think they should remake it and use maximum two cars as a template for it or a one car with a Twist (pretty much how they do current GTA Online cars, they just almost 1:1 make a copy of real-life car and just add their own touch to the looks of it, tbh. I love the new 300R thing they added to the online, I genuinely think they done better job than Nissan while designing 370Z successor, especially the front end is done better, as it actually looks like modern Fairlady Z but with modern twist)

It's already GTA style Twist Crown Victoria  Just to make it complete use use rear end of same gen Grand Marquis

 

This is obviously a joke but they can make Stanier look like mix of 3 cars if the 3 cars are Grand Marquis, Marauder and Crown Victoria, that car would 100% not look like Crown Victoria.
btw. If those cars were widely available in Europe... I want Grand Marquis with digital speedometer so bad but only I can get in here without having Eurotrip is 3 very mid condition and overpriced Crown Victorias. (They are like 9000-11000$, and usually they require small body repairs and detailing of interior)

I didn’t want to set the tone of this thread, but yeah, Fugitive and Picador are hideous, completely out of proportion. Sabre and Emperor too, too low for a car like that. I wouldn’t want some of the other vintage cars to be gone tho, they are just too iconic to American car culture. I’d be fine as long as they turn down the spawn rate, and maybe refurbish the model, which is something I can see them doing. They did make a more detailed version of Baller 2013, which can be seen from the video of Lucia standing in the intersection.

 

Rest of them are just spawn rare issue. A lot of them like Seminole and Feroci are nicely modeled. It would be nice if they can spawn in the next game to increase the diversity, as long as they are not taking over the street. 

 

Also since no one mentioned European cars, I really hoped they’d get rid of the current Shafter, but no, they gave it an interior. The older one and the one without the body kit looks so good.

That’s very high price for a Vic if it’s in US, but not so expensive compared to any new hobby car you can buy. If you don’t mind spending some extra money, get one and get a Mercury conversion kit.

Exactly. I think if they spawn only when traffic cars are getting repetitive and more common in less wealthy areas would be nice, and only avaliable for purchase from a used car website.

 

They exist and are still driven around in real life. Also ngl GTA 4 has better car designs than original GTA 5.

I still see a bunch of 90s and 2000s cars on the street in real life,and my own car is a 2000 Audi A3.I agree it would be unrealistic if they spawned as commonly as post-2010 cars,but they shouldn't be absent from the game.They should be more common in poor areas than newer cars though.

I don't mind seeing something like a classic Beetle, Mini, Fiat 500, Testarossa, E30 and others,but they should rarely spawn driving in traffic.They could mostly spawn in car meets or occasionally on the driveway in some richer area,owned by some classic car enthusiast.In fact,while I like classic cars more than modern ones,I think all pre-1990 cars should be more rare,in GTA 5 it's weird seeing five mint condition 50s Thunderbirds or 70s Chargers driving through the same street at the same time (same with modern luxury cars like Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches, Rolls Royces, etc.).

 

 

On topic,I never liked FQ2, BeeJay XL and Radius,they can take those out for all I care.

I want every sedan from 1990's and 2000's to stay in the game. However, there are some awful new ones which were added in Grand Theft Auto V, for example Fugitive.

 

These should be removed as they are just bad creations.

Sentinel Classic looks really, really, really nice,

Ellie, Monroe, FMJ, Stinger are pretty mid but not bad overall,

Issi Sport and Comets are also quite nice.

Thing is that Crown Victoria is not expensive here because it's imported from US and went few conversions to get road worthiness. It's expensive only because it's a Crown Vic, I could literally get any other Americna full size sedan for half of this price and it would be in at least good condition, so no rust, ok interior and healthy engine. For price of vic I would just get something older and more unrealistic for European roads, like 1974 Buick Electra.

Yeah there's a lot a I disagree with on that list as well.

 

These cars deserve to still be featured in VI, but some need to have their spawn rates adjusted accordingly

I mean they were fine in 2013, but even significant reworking would not be enough to make them fit into a modern game. Keep in mind, a lot of these cars were carried over from GTA 4. Its not that i dont like these cars, but i would like to see fresh models.

 

I would also like to add the Stallion. I think its an iconic gta car and would love to see a new model. Just for clarity, by new model, i dont mean a modern version or a restomod. Im thinking more like the difference between the og gauntlet and the hellfire. The same car, but remade from scratch using all the latest modelling tools.

These are actually nicely done cars IMO, and it makes perfect sense for some of them to appear in Vice City. As for classic ones, maybe some of them can do with a model update, but we can say that about pretty much every car.
