Audio quality settings questions

Hi, just curious what is considered the best audio settings for PC? On the steam release.

 

Dynamic Acoustic Modeling for example. Do you consider it to sound better on or off? I didn't find much doing a search on it, but it sounds about the same either way at least with just testing it, seeing what the radio sounds like etc.

 

Likewise, 2 speaker or headphone setting sounds about the same on my layman's test. I'm playing on speakers myself.

 

dsound3d software emulation is the only setting for that category that sticks for me.

 

The game sounds fine for me, not an urgent problem or anything, but was just curious. Thanks.

Leave it on the defaults, the sound options provided are not catered for anymore via modern drivers, there are some mods that can redivert to modern OS drivers to re-enable things like EAX, but without them the game just falls back on basic LPCM Stereo mixing.
