Green Check Marks

So I thought up until now that a Green Check Mark on the Mission Select Screen meant that you had completed that mission. I am trying to slowly work through all the missions and get them completed. I just got disconnected from a mission I was working on and when I logged back in, there was a check mark there, even though I hadn't completed it. So I then took to Google and searched what it meant, and I am seeing half say it means you completed, and the other half say that it means you've played it. So I figured I would ask here. Any ideas GTA Forums?

Yes, you don't actually need to complete the mission.

But to get credit for completing the mission you need to right? So to get the T Shirt that you get from completing all of Lamar's Lowrider missions you have to complete all or just get green check marks?

For those T-Shirts you do need to complete them as host, yes.
