SomeGuy86
Hey guys. I was just wondering, is it possible to add new, fully functional traffic lights into the game the same way we can add/make any other "2dfx" object? Thing is, I've tried making my own model but it didn't work. Yes, the model appeared in game, and everything seems fine but it doesn't actually light up. Then I've tried using the original model from the game, but giving it (assigning) a different ID number. Unfortunately, it didn't work either. Meaning that the traffic lights are probably linked to EXE & its internal limits. Seeing that we have multiple "Limit Adjusters" to choose from, not to mention CLEO scripts & bunch of other memory tweaks, I would like to know if it's possible to address this issue & assign new, unique IDs to traffic lights? vladvo
I think you have to extract binary ipl from gta3.img and add lines to it. You'll need to find an editor that is able to handle the ipl files. As a starting point - find Traincross fix mod or Missing railroad crossing barriers. You'll get the idea. Again, that's only my thoughts on the subject. These mods work, cars stop at crossings, so I think traffic light might work the same way.
