I saw there's YELLOWSTONE, and YOUR HONOR and DEXTER: NEW BLOOD and so much more. put me in a predicament right there, because, what to watch with only 7 days time, during the christmas holidays?! there's also the new TOP GUN movie, sheeeeeeeeeeeit I feel like giving that one a try aswell. *sighs* there goes my 5 hours of sleep every night - gonna have to cut it down to 3 a night, at least for that trial week Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
your best pal Posted December 26, 2022 Author Share Posted December 26, 2022 I started with YOUR HONOR and I absolutely don't regret it. this is some good sh*t, cranston is stunning but so is the rest of the cast. 5 episodes in I definitely wanna see it through. 2 days off work will help, probably gonna binge the rest. when the phone rang in court, and hisenberg got all mad n sh*t, that's where the series shifts gears again I suppose, really curious to see how it pans out. funny coincidence: my gf is currently watching DEAD TO ME on netflix which is also about a hit and run and the aftermath of it. it is okay, but it ain't got sh*t on your honor! PS: YELLOWSTONE got 4 seasons, and the latest one is behind a paywall so I'm going to let this one slide, yet again - but I will get to it some day, I have to...kelly reilly, jeez luis that woman! We have Paramount+ and we have just finished the first half of Season 5 (it resumes on Jan 1st) Also very good is Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone Prequel / Spin-off? - limited series “1883”, which tells of the early Duttons making their way in a wagon train across the harsh and unforgiving 19th century America with a convoy of immigrants. He has followed up that particular offshoot with “1923” which has just started showing. PS: your honor was good, the end of season 1 felt like an epitome of a cliffhanger! holy moly! fortunately, I just found out there will be season 2 starting in january, YESSSSsssssss! your best pal Posted January 14 Author Share Posted January 14 5 hours ago, TwistOfLime21 said: Don't set your expectations high for season four, its absolute garbage. well, I can accept that at some point any show would just let everything it built up collapse, and let chaos reign upon the story and its characters. happens with a lot of shows, that point where the heart and soul of it gets lost, when producers and actors want to get out etc, and so the show just continues because it is expected to, for the story to come to a conclusion. it's too bad yellowstone would go down that road too now, I had to outsource since season 4 is locked behind a paywall (on my paramount+ account anyways) and only found the german dubbed version. that's already an immersion-breaker, and if it truly goes downhill I might not even care about season 5. season 4 though, I want/need to know what happened after the big bang that was the season 3 finale. the aftermath, you know. All I'll say on that is prepare for massive amounts of disappointment. No spoilers but season five is pretty good so far though. Its 16 episodes instead of 10 this time but they're not really using the extra six episodes to their advantage. Theres only one storyline at the moment and the rest of the episodes are focusing on the ranchers doing their thing. DexMacLeod Posted January 17 Share Posted January 17 Trying to get caught up on Yellowstone today and it's a real struggle. I'm halfway through 503 and there's maybe been five minutes of plot/character development the whole episode. The show moves so slowly that it's technically going backwards a lot of the time.
