And it would be cool to customize what guns you sell and your store's layout. Also I'd like to see a simple drug dealing feature like the one from Chinatown Wars. I think it's a missed opportunity that they didn't add it to Online yet there's absolutely no way they are not adding this to VI. Afaik the only mansion we owned/took was Diaz's in VC in all the GTA games, but that's it, and the theme needs to be brought back, even better than before with customizations. We got to have Madd Dogg's mansion in San Andres too. I agree though I feel like they tried with the nice house they give Franklin in GTA 5, but they could've given us something better. Don’t forget Michael’s mansion in GTAV, sure it wasn’t super big but it still counts. Luckily Miami is probably one of the cities with the best mansions in the United States. From Spanish-style mansions to modern mansions, there are a lot of them on the private islands between Miami and Miami Beach, it’s where all the rich people live, even Pablo Escobar had a mansion there. In single-player, Playboy X's penthouse was the last time we got a high-rise safehouse with a nice terrace, straight to the outside's scenery. Give us one in Brickell or Edgewater with glass window and terrace, even a helipad to save helicopters. Make it an expensive late-game purchasable safehouse. Unless I'm misinterpreting your post, you can buy mansions in Online.... Frank has a mansion and so does Mikey.... You also had Playboy X penthouse which is a sky mansion... Franklin's safehouse is a villa, Playboy X's safehouse is a penthouse apartment and GTAO only has apartments, stilt houses, small low-end houses and penthouses. Scott Ransom Posted December 26, 2022 Share Posted December 26, 2022 I will be absolutely perplexed if there aren't multiple safehouses to buy throughout the map - this might be a dealbreaker on whether I buy the game or not. One thing I hated about V was the safehouse situation. Trevors only options were his trailer way out in SS and then a crappy office in a strip club. Things that actually provide an activity rather than a building that just generates passive income and/or a place to save. There's quite a few opportunities for delivery style mission-based businesses like the Pizza Delivery, Ice Cream truck, and taxi stuff but they could also bring in some of the CEO stuff from GTA Online. They could also tie this into the various side activities/mini games. So instead of just going to the golf course and playing a round, the golf course has gone out of business and you have to buy it/open it back up before you can play. Or, instead of just stealing a cop car and doing vigilante missions you can buy a private security firm or a bail bonds office and become a bounty hunter. People like to act like the world hasn't changed much since GTA V came out and maybe it hasn't in some ways, but one major way it has (and one that could actually have an impact on gameplay) is that the gig economy is massive nowadays. A lot of people almost have to have a side hustle just to get by these days and that makes for the perfect excuse to have a character working all sorts off odd jobs. Even when they become ridiculously wealthy and own a ton of businesses they still don't mind working the actual jobs because that's just the kind of mentality/work ethic they've developed after years of struggling to survive. I think it's all a moot point, though. I think any interesting business activities are going to be locked up inside GTA Online and we'll be lucky if we get as many in VI as we did in V. I'd be kind of okay with that if Online works in VI like it does now in V. Where all of the game's content is open even in a private session. Audi Posted January 2 Share Posted January 2 Businesses will be a copy and paste from what you can do in GTAO currently, perhaps with some new elements thrown in. Theres no way they dont copy that over in some fashion regardless of how SP vs MP/online is handled. Its an easy way to stuff the game with extra content to keep it going after beating the main story and side missions. As far as houses, Id really like mansions you can customize as mentioned a few posts above. Similar to how offices and penthouses were customizable in GTAO, but apply that option to your homes past a certain price point. Perhaps furniture too like in Scarface: The World Is Yours. Definitely need beach front property. Both V and GTAO lacked true beach front or shore front homes you could buy and thats a missed opportunity. We had the niceish Ocen Drive motel room in Vice City and thats something Id expect to return. Other than classic mansions, fancy penthouses and beachfront homes there should be mid tier suburban homes, cheap apartments and sketch low income area hideouts. Rather than give us an Arcade with a mastermind secret-door-to-the-basement setup, just give us a store front that houses an illegal gambling racket, or a small decrepit building where we have a forgery setup in the back office.
