Golfinho
Hello there! I'm having a nasty issue with my RX560 that makes GTA IV and select Directx9 games unplayable. Basically after 30 minutes or so of gameplay, my monitor goes black and the sounds keep looping then stop after a few seconds, then my computer stays like that.. I'm 100% sure its not a temperature issue, since it only happens on select directx9 games + I've actually found someone with a RX 580 who had the same issue in the same Directx9 game I was playing at the time. Then, yesterday I finally came to the realization it was a directx9 issue, since every game I played and had that issue used Directx9. I contacted that person I mentioned before and they said they had the same issue in GTA IV too! I'm using a Windows 10 Pro 21H1, this happens while playing the game, steam version downgraded with http://downgraders.rockstarvision.com/ also using the mod fusionfix and some command line options, I'll provide any more info if necessary. Is there any way I can fix this on GTA IV? [sorry if this post is a mess] Edited December 18, 2022 by Golfinho
Solution ant_sh Posted December 19, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 19, 2022 You may try modded driver with alt profile https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/amernime-zone-amd-software-adrenalin-pro-driver-release-discovery-22-12-1-whql.436611/ Also check for hotspot overheating Golfinho

I'll check out that post and driver to see whats up! Thanks, and I'll mark as solved if it solves it. Edit: That reddit post actually helped me a lot, thank you!
