Drug Wars Unreleased Stuff

So all the cutscenes for part 2 of this DLC are in the game files, unsurprisingly. No actual patch needed for it, just drip feed.

 

So heres all the cutscenes, now ingame!

 

 

 

 

Should be in order.

Well, considering this very small first part DLC, I’d like to recap here all the UNreleased stuffs that should be coming in the next weeks/months.

Thanks to all people who already found these.

- Veichles (Tahoma Coupe-FREE ONLY on December 16-18, Annis 300R-Available UNTIL December 28, Western Powersurge-AVAILABLE FROM 12/29, Taxi-AVAILABLE FROM 1/19, Brickade 6x6-AVAILABLE FROM 1/19, Weeny Issi Rally-AVAILABLE FROM 1/26 UNTIL 2/1, Classique Broadway-AVAILABLE FROM 2/9, Toundra Panthere-AVAILABLE FROM 2/16 UNTIL 2/22, Karin Hotring Everon-AVAILABLE FROM 3/9 UNTIL 3/15, Willard Eudora-AVAILABLE FROM 3/16, Ocelot Virtue-AVAILABLE FROM 3/16, Karin Boor-AVAILABLE FROM 4/13)

 

- Weapon WM29 pistolAVAILABLE FROM 12/22 (Random event - You have to kill npc at Weazel Plaza btw 8pm - 6Am in-game time, then kill enemies and get it from corpse. Also unlock special livery for MkII pistol)

 

- Snowmen collectables - AVAILABLE FROM 12/22

(You have to destroy 25 snowmen at some locations on map - Unlock snowman outfit after destroyed all of them. ENDS on 1/12)

 

- Gun Van - AVAILABLE FROM 1/12

(It spawns daily at different location on map and you can buy discounted weapons: Railgun, shotguns, rifles, knives, baseball bats, molotov, mines and armor)

 

- Taxi Work - AVAILABLE FROM 1/19

(No time limit fares, and you can complete as many as you want. Complete 10 fares in a row to unlock trade price for the Taxi. Complete 50 fares to unlock livery for Classique Broadway. Complete 10 stunt jumps during a fare to unlock livery for Willard Eudora)

 

- New Garage 50 slotsAVAILABLE FROM 2/16 (You can buy it for $2,740,000. It has 10 slots per floor. You can customize floors)

 

- Street DealersAVAILABLE FROM 2/16 (3 Street Dealers can be found each day at random locations on map. You can sell them stuffs to gain money. Each one has different values from the other. The values are the same across everyone)

 

- G's Cache daily collectablesAVAILABLE FROM 2/16 (Gerald will leave a box with armor, snack and cash at a random location on the map and you have to go here to find it)

 

- Stash House daily collectables - AVAILABLE FROM 2/16 (You have to break into a stash house at random point on map, then kill enemies inside and get stuffs opening the safe)

 

- Store Robbery - AVAILABLE FROM 2/16 (Random event - it spawns at random stores. You have to kill thief and then you can choose to keep or return the cash. Returning five times for the "Good Samaritan" award)

 

Merryweather Convoy (Random event - Steal the truck and deliver it to your bunker/mc business/freakshop to gain supplies. Alternatively if you don't own a bunker you'll be tasked to deliver the supplies to an Ammu-Nation for money)

Im surprised there are no face paints or juggalo clothes in the update, considering you see NPC's wearing new stuff like colored gloves or shirts in some cutscenes. Unless there are more hidden clothing items for part 2?

Ok I'm just confused about one thing then. If people say there aren't any new guns in this DLC, what are these references to a "WM 29 Pistol"?

So heres all the cutscenes, unfortunately couldn't get them to play in FiveM/in game at all so its in codewalker, but you get the message

 

Should be in order, but the last one might be before the plane stuff.

Friedlander has come back from the dead for absolutely no f*cking reason.

 

And an almost identical copy of the mission minor turbulences, dammit.

BTW: nice one such a miniature update and still cut for 2 parts with cutscenes voice lines and NPC models in already released folder :prismkek:  and expectations were so low :D 

Holy f*cking sh*t I knew Rockstar had their B team writing for GTA Online now but this is unironically Disney Channel tier writing. I can't actually believe Rockstar produced that. I'm in genuine disbelief of what I've just watched.

I don't think killing Friedlander was ever canon. He even gives you a psyche evaluation at the end of the game.

the WM29 is the only "new" weapon besides i guess the candy cane.  the model looks a lot like the Ceramic Pistol but the trigger guard and rear of the gun are different.

 

Way more curious about the Railgun and what actual differences it has from the regular one.  Still the same model.

Killing him isn't canon but he does get murdered if you let him live. So yeah him being dead is canon...I'm just gonna believe that it's another Rockstar retcon. But f*ck me, this update has been all over the place. I can only figure that this update was intended for Trevor getting back into the drug game (what with all the parallels to Series A funding and a mission similar to minor turbelence) but after Steven Ogg got sick of Trevor (thanks GTA fans for pestering him about it for 10 years), they had to regroup and made this lackluster retread of everything.

 

Apart from Cars, I'm only interested in seeing the Taxi business in action.

But Dr. Friedlander sends Michael an email after some time if he is spared. Assuming sparing him is the canon choice, then the news article becomes a non-canon oversight. That's my guess.

Perhaps it can be argued that he was presumed dead since the article itself says his death was "suspicious", perhaps he was presumed dead but didn't actually die, after all we don't see him die and it doesn't appear that Michael canonically kills him.

Freidlander actualyl dies even if you let him live in SP. What happens is that some time after the mission there's a news article that tells that he got killed in Liberty City form what I know.

Friedlander respawned at Paleto Bay hospital - it took him a while to get back to LS. 

 

Let's hope that the upcoming daily collectables have encouraged Rockstar to find a colour for the map-blip that isn't pale blue...

Everything is canon if they let you make your own decision they can't just say ''oh f*ck it let it slide'' if you kill him or spare him it's your choice they gave you ence it's canon.
Abadoment issues can be done after 100% and yes you can do 100% even if you kill trevor I made it that way.

Nonsence there is nothing about liberty city, article appears if you kill him, if spare he will sent michael an email with hillarious reply. 
If that massage appear even after you spared him, it's game bug or develompment fail  just like when Steve Haines survives but his fans crying over his death on bleeter. 

 

But anyway make him resurrect from greedy therapist prick into saturday morning cartoon villain is over a f*cking opressor mk2 top.

Guys, the majority of optional kills in story mode got continuity issues with the in-game news and social medias websites, just like Dr. Friendlander, if you kill Ashley(from TLAD) during the Mr. Phillips mission, you still get the radio news report that she died of a OD during a orgy with a bunch of old men after the mission Eye In The Sky which takes place several weeks after Mr. Phillips.

Which even more proof what I said, they don't give a rat ass about continuity kill/soare someone who cares right..

Which is why I don't care about any news from websites or social medias in this V, when it comes to this matter.

 

I can see Trevor not being the kind of guy who would kill Ashley since he was balls deep into her 5 minutes ago, I can see Michael not killing Friendlander because Michael went to therapy to at least try to change for the better and also because he wouldn't really get anything out of killing the doctor...And there's the email after the mission too.

 

With all of this being said, yeah Franklin not killing Cheng Jr. when he was in that car with Cheng Sr. Was quite a stupid retcon, they should have used another character or create a new one from scratch.

During the moment when he says "Lights!" there is some scripting for actually turning the lights off

 

CodeWalker of course doesn't follow that, which means you can easily see the actor for the characters doing goofy stuff if you move the camera
