A new French sports car under a new French brand! (finally!)

Based on the 2017-present Alpine A110.

That's the OG Comet interior but it looks like they switched the old gas and water temp dials for a display screen.

 

I won't complain about it because the gauges are at least visible and properly set up within the steering wheel gap, just gotta ignore the 2014 textures...

Personally i prefer the Phase I over the Phase II but i'll gladly take either if it came down to them being added to the game;

Hopefully, they’ll continue the trend of making lore friendly brands! Definitely a one that I want to see is a lore friendly Acura brand! (Interna)

Regarding the panthere i hope they didn't f*ck up its sound by giving it the generic Kuruma sound

Yeah. I didn't explore too much though as I quite like it stock. That glass roof is an option though.

It does make me wonder if this is a brand they're gonna develop on in GTA VI tbh. Not often we see a new car brand in GTAO.

Finally we won't see this ugly Bordeaux logo anymore when creators will present their Renault replicas.
 

Toundra is.. a good name I guess, it's obvious that they are making a parody of Alpine, but is it the only real french brand that Rockstar will share to us ? It would be a big disappointment for me if their Citroën DS was released one day under this brand, for example. I'd really see this model released under the era of GTA 6, since we can find a Citroën DS in Scarface. It would be a great little easter egg.

 

+ the Toundra is more russian than french, since it's typical in Russia and we don't find these landscapes in our country. So it makes it maybe a little weird, from my eyes. But it's more a question of patriotism and pride lol 

 

The shape of the taillights is inspired by what we can find on the latest Megane e-tech, so the stylistic language is staying something in adequation with what we can find with Renault. 
 

 

Now I'm waiting for the A110 and A310

I love when R* made a new brand instead of using existing brand that didn't even fitting, like how R* constantly milking the Lampadati brand for european cars (ahem...The Pigalle)

 

Speaking of new car brand, can we get more Maxwell (Vauxhall or Opel...eh same thing) branded cars?

The car appears to have very good acceleration, top speed, and handling so far from what I've seen

...welp, that's my new daily driver sorted.

 

I do love a good small, chuckable car - proper 'enthusiast driver' stuff (speaking of which, where's my Annis MX-5 knock-off, Rockstar? ), and the A110 is already a modern classic, so this is a fantastic surprise - and on top of that, it looks like the model is a home run both in terms of sculpt and design (to be fair, GTAO's been on a winning streak for the last few years, there!). Hopefully there's not some awful gremlin lurking within the handling model - like I just said in the Entity MT thread, I'm not super fond of buying GTAO cars just so they can look pretty in my garage, but this one especially is something that deserves to be enjoyed as intended.

 

As for the generic interior, my main complaint is that it just makes me yearn for a real-life A110 with a gated manual...!
