Declasse Tulip M-100 Appreciation Thread

Recommended Posts

Coincidentally, there was an article on yahoo about the 1980 Malibu that released on December 10th, 2 days before the DLC dropped.

For some odd reason he just copied my text. You can see my post with the pic on page 5, but here is the picspacer.png

Imagine a El camino version

That would be awesome, especially if it doesn’t have a goofy suspension lol

With VI, it’d be cool to see deeper customization for stance and suspension, the ability to lift as well. I get Rockstar like their fine details like animating belts and flywheels (I do too!), but it would be cool to see them spread that attention to detail over to modification options as well. They’ve certainly gotten better, adding drift tires and stance settings, but the way they do stuff is kinda limiting and tends to break other stuff (see the drift/stance speed glitch that caused them to haphazardly nerf the tuners to sh*t for half a year, only to later de-nerf and eventually kinda nerf again with Drug Wars). They’re definitely trying stuff though and late in the games lifespan too, I’ll take it.

Here's hoping they'll let us change tire profile and width similar to Saints Row 3. Maybe even the option for wheel spacers so bodykits don't look dumb on the cars with the option for extended arches.

Kind of like the latest forza horizon where you can you add offset to your wheels.

For a dev of Rockstars stature I don’t think it’s an unrealistic expectation. Same with paying licensing costs on songs from the older games, but that’s a different B&M. I think they have a habit of being cheap for how much they make off their games, let alone GTAO..

R* devs could easily implement such a feature in this game if they really wanted to.

The problem is that in order to do this they would need to tweak the in-game physics engine so new speed glitches don't appear thanks to that, on PC if you play enough with a car's stance, wheel offset and width, you can make the wheels clip through the car's suspension and bodywork, making the suspension compress all the time and resulting in the car reaching insane top speeds.

R* could compensate this by either making the feature extremely limited, which would 100% upset a lot of players and make the feature itself be forgettable in a month of two after its implemented, or they just could add the anti-curb boosting flag of the open wheel cars to all the other cars in the game...But in doing this they would just open up another can of worms, because now all the cars in the game would be driving considerably slower on a straightline.

Yeah...Maybe it's better to wait for the next game.
