Ok then, the front could be a 1978 El Camino and the back half could be a 1978 Holden Kingswood. It would be remiss of me not to point out that Cheval also is attributed to the Hennessey Venom F5 stand in car. Of course Declasse has a number of non chevrolet cars in it's repertoire.

True but, when that makes up only a quarter of Cheval's lineup, I think the implication that Cheval is def Holden is very much still relevant.

I wholly disagree. I say this as an Australian but the GTA Wiki's logic that Cheval = Holden is based solely on the Fugitive. Which while the real world Caprice was based off a Holden it's pretty obvious it's meant to be a Chevrolet Caprice. The Picador is not a Holden in the slightest, it's two generations of the El Camino smashed together. Any similarity to a Holden is superficial at best. Finally I have no idea why they seem to think the Surge is based off the Holden version of the Volt, we didn't get the Volt until 2 years after Chevy released their version.

 

To me there is only 1 actual australian based car in GTA V and it's the Imperator. That is much more blatantly based off the Falcon not this psudeo kinda nonsense that Cheval apparentely is. Cheval is at best 1/4 Holden and that is extremely tenuous at best. So the "implication" is not relevant and is basically just the GTA wiki trying to make sense of Rockstar logic. Heck on IGCD all the Chevals (apart from the Venom) are listed under Chevy.

True but, since the Chevy Caprice we got here (which btw is only used by law enforcement irl), it kinda makes sense to cut out the middleman and just call it the Holden that it is. Yeah, they should've just put all the Cheval models under the Declasse brand but I don't doubt Holden is supposed to be Cheval. Not only that but there's also some red herrings like the logos being similar, what's Cheval supposed to be counting all American brands, etc. etc. that just point it to someone flubbing up and bringing them to America.

 

Don't get me wrong, I like some Holdens like the Commodore VB and it's a genuine shame that they aren't in business anymore but, for the sake of simplification, there's nothing really gained by bringing them to America, even in a video game, even when all of its models depicted ingame were also sold as Chevrolets irl.

Woulda loved to do the 13 Hog Hellcat myself too! hell even when the greenwood's out i was kinda hoping for ether enos's Race Monaco or Rosco's with the Nitrous

I made an unmarked Rosco and the 2 colored cars from knight rider custom made killer.

Just wish there was more inbetween rust liveries. Light rust around arches, sills, door bottoms. As opposed to entirely rusty paintwork and then immaculate chrome or painted  trim

So basically more blocky Tulip coupe? Cool, but price is crazy. 1.6Mil for mundane 80s car that isn't even some white whale. Meanwhile Ocelot Penetrator costs 800k and that's icon of 90s supercars.

Nice. did mine as Mary Kaye's Baby build aaand tried to do the Family Matter's Dodge monaco. i think for the M-100 im not too sure what to do for the car.. Maybe a fun attempt for Squad Rod

The economy is all f*cked up at this stage. Imagine seeing this car at this price in 2014, you'd have thought it was a joke. That said, there are so many ways to make decent money on this game now, it's not like we're all grinding Pac Standard for 250k a pop or whatever. 

 

I bought this because I like it, I sold a few old cars to pay for it, which is fine as I'm trimming my collection right down.

Pretty sure the ute in the VI leaks had a Vapid badge IIRC. Either way, it would be a fitting PV for the male protag from what we saw.
