Normally they don't but this summer's update was very content dry so R* stretched the already massive drip feed even more. The two updates last year for example had drip feed lasting roughly two months.

I highly doubt it. The average player is not that dumb and uninformed. They may not be over here obsessing over every drop of info like us, but I'm pretty sure they've caught on after nearly 8 years of the same formula. They know what dripfeed is.

They usually get released after the update itself has released.

No actually, honestly especially for casual carguy and normal player like me it's pain to wait 5 months to get that car you want, or wait a few month to get a stupid 4 shot sniper with no customizations.

Excuse me? If that's even possible that brickade 6x6 is that cheap? Or it just a chassis with no cab, or even no wheels attached on it?

The thing is that we have contacts that are there only to give us a call day 1 of the dlc or at a very special occasion and that's it. For e.g.: Wendy if you buy an arcade game and she tells you when it arrives; Yung Ancestor for DCH with his approach; Tom Connors...Dom (which at this point is already dead for 9 years); KDJ that only tells you "good job doing that heist"; etc.

You made me remember how funny it was doing the Short Trips last xmas when was snowing and in the last cutscene when Franklin and Lamar are in Tequi-la-la people are recording them with their phones, but it's not snowing in the phones screen.
