The release newswire pretty much details everything in the update. The more screens that get out, the more it's obvious to R* that something is up and then sh!t goes south. That's why the dataminer showed only one screenshot, to show something new but not too much so as to risk getting in trouble.

As it is right now, the game only has RT shadows, they work and look better in the Fidelity mode because that one offers native 4k at 30fps, the performance RT offers a less demanding RT implementation at 60fps but the catch is that the resolution is 1440p upscaled to 4k.

 

As of tomorrow, however, the Fidelity mode will offer RT reflections in addition to what was there before, but there wouldn't be any change to the FPS (it hasn't been suggested at least), so essentially, the Fidelity mode will look the best out of all modes, but will run at 30fps compared to the other ones.

The contents of the contract DLC newswire were leaked early and nobody batted an eye.

 

I know we have but after the GTAVI leak and the leaked source code for GTAV R* has no doubt tightened up their security and will probably be more vigilant about any future leaks.

there are players in that screenshot, they might be doing animations we can't normally do, but that's not new.

Although the image is not highest quality, based on the heads and facial hair I'll assume these are npcs, they've been reusing these assets for a while

after the very first image got posted very early on, it took r* about an hour to wipe everything out. so that's pretty much the only reason the flood gates were opened and the rest of the pics got posted. the cat was out the bag, and it's most likely they won't allow it to happen again
