LOL, its just a typo by dumb Rockstar unpaid interns - they wanted to say "including a new business enterprise to operate, new vehicles and missions, and EXTREMLY EXPENSIVE upgrades." 👍  ... but they also wanted to sound smart so they invented some words 🤷‍♂️

 

BTW this DLC is great for them to use 'police cars & equipment' they made for CnC, just simply have some kind of "Raid opposing gang warehouse" type of missions (like to lower their stats or boost yours, or just steal their chem. supplies) pretending to be police! We'll see about that 🧐

What if the reason behind the setting of the update taking place mostly in Blaine county is to reduce the load for old gen since there are plenty of open places and generally less detailing than in the city :modkek:

It would make sense, also it's a natural evolution imo. There isn't many places in the city without other properties now. We've also been saying for years that other parts of the map need some love.

I think saying "50-ish" rather than eg 40-50 is entirely intentional and confirms a new storage with a non-10 number of slots. I seem to recall information about numbers of slots from this source has always been both accurate and precise.

 

4 x 12 (48) springs to mind.

Lol vegetation in those area still makes game very much unplayable so I don’t think that’s the case

Blaine County is much easier on the CPU side. Not many tall buildings, not much traffic.

 

Game runs better there on last gen consoles compared to LS.

No lol, its called drug wars for a reason, we need an actual cartel update… imagine teaming up with the madrazos and taking down other cartel groups while also producing high amounts of coke, god that would be so good.

The underlying engine is still an older version of RAGE despite some improvements to rendering and other misc. code so although yes they could do more things, the truly 'amazing' things would be for GTA VI :p RAGE has come a long way since V and RDR2 shows.

I know it's a word, but really? That's as bad as actionable, or a commercial I heard the other day for a soft drink that said it's "sessionable". I think that means you can drink it in one go, as opposed to what, putting the top back on and finishing it later?

 

Oh well, we've known for decades the day would come when the people who got gold stars on a chart for showing up to school rather than getting detention if they didn't would end up in the worlplace one day and end up like foppish dandies. Thanks for making my game experiential Lord Byron of Rockstar. Sheesh. Where are all the cool kids?

Certain graphic designs for the auto shops introduced with Tuners were of a higher resolution than usual so dataminers did a bit of digging and found out they were taken from assets of the next GTA game, intentional or not who really knows but it's interesting nonetheless.

 

Rockstar's done that with a few other things in this game too I think, certain vehicle designs being of an absurdly higher quality than others etc.

In Tuners, one of the liveries for the Vectre (named 'Mambas 24', which is still unreleased!) has the symbol of a sports team from Vice City named Vice City Mambas - that same symbol and the team name were seen in the GTA VI leaks, on a stadium.

 

The logo for one of Vice City's transportation methods, the Vice City Metro Mule, was introduced in Arena War (hidden in a Cerberus livery) in 2018, and was also seen in the GTA VI footage leaks. There's no doubt a lot more in the game and probably will be even more as we approach an official announcement IMO.

 

This one is wilder speculation, but the two characters in the Race & Chase Crotch Rockets arcade game also seem to have some similarities to the actual GTA VI protagonists seen in the leaks, down to the default clothing of the male character.

ive been surveying the land for potential warehouse/hideout locations and came across this in grapeseed

it looks pretty decent in size especially considering that we are getting a vehicle workshop + storage for large stuff like the 6x6 

oh and it has the word autos :)

I'm so tired of everything happening in the city, why don't they use more of the map so we can see different things?

 

Here is a DLC that takes place outside of the city.

 

Why in the hell are they making the DLC take part outside of the city? I don't want to have to drive all that way.

We would have the O'Neil's as neighbours there, yeah would be cool showing them who is the boss around there.

Nice place, i only know that one supply mission for the hanger takes place there but it should be no problem to remove the mission or place it somewhere else

  • CnC! R* finally decided to include some of the CnC weapons, namely:
    • Police Rifle
    • Riot SMG
    • A special version of the Stun Gun, specifically for CnC
    • Baton
  • Some of the mission themes: (don't know much about them, just a vague theme)
    • Cargo Plane
    • Hippy Rivals (I think this was mentioned in the Newswire as well)
    • Rescuing your cook
    • Something with chemicals, possibly explosive
    • Train Crash
    • ...and more
  • Fun new collectible: Snowman ☃️


Are these 50 slots only meant for this DLC part 1 or does it include part 2 as well?

I love to see more boats especially ones from GTA4 and BoGT, also love to see the Rio back as well in the HD Universe

No idea, they could possibly add more with the next part but considering they're adding 50 with this, I don't think that'll be necessary.

Seeing R* deliberately address the payouts on the hangar business with this DLC does give me hope R* do similar with the arena rep system. Would be great to see that a bit more reasonable to rank up and unlock stuff.

 

Plus I hope this DLC comes with some in game awards to collect. Quite enjoy those.

 

But I'm still keen on those potential 50ish vehicle spots, lol. Hopefully we can store some bigger stuff like a truck and trailer, bigger things like upgrading pegasus vehicles or the like, bit of hangar storage along with regular storage to build our PV collections nicely and I'll really enjoy that let alone the new content.
