I know there have been some leaks here and there, so I'm trying to focus on what hasn't been revealed yet:

 

  • 50-ish new vehicle slots
  • The "Juggalo Hideout" has a Vehicle Workshop
  • CnC! R* finally decided to include some of the CnC weapons, namely:
    • Police Rifle
    • Riot SMG
    • A special version of the Stun Gun, specifically for CnC
    • Baton
  • Some of the mission themes: (don't know much about them, just a vague theme)
    • Cargo Plane
    • Hippy Rivals (I think this was mentioned in the Newswire as well)
    • Rescuing your cook
    • Something with chemicals, possibly explosive

Tbh, i think a CnC DLC could already be in the game at this point. I don't believe that the excuse for not is still hold in sociopolitical reasons that happened 2 years ago.

People are almost saying 50 slots = 35 new cars or something. :sadkek: I think it's normal to assume that R* is just pulling a massive space slot "update" in order for not need to keep adding 1 or 2 new apartments just for the sake of a 10 car garage. But 50 slots is a lot if that will be in the new H.Q., and it's only the garage part of it, the building may be quite big...or who knows, maybe two different new properties and 25 slots for each (idk why, i'm betting more in this hypothesis).

How do you prevent PC cheaters/hackers from playing the "Second Dose" missions early? Just don't upload the associated server-side files until it's time to do so. And that's exactly what Rockstar does. That's why when there's a new adversary mode, we can't play it early until Rockstar release it.

 

However, there's a workaround for cheaters/hackers and dataminers, but it's honestly not worth it. We can replicate some parts by enabling the extra functionality within our random-ass missions, but there are tons and tons of variables that you wouldn't be able to replicate the exact experience Rockstar would offer.


Do you think the part 2 will be release in "March" or it will be the summer dlc? It would be the easy route for R*.

That's also why I think they're adding so many vehicle slots, there'll be alot of vehicles in both parts of the update but they don't wanna go through the trouble of adding more slots again in March.


I'm more pron to believe that they just didn't want to keep adding 1 or 2 apartment with 10 car garage space each update. It doesn't mean (probably) that this DLC will have more new vehicles than any other DLC before.

I still wonder which buildings in Blaine County or Paleto Bay are large enough to contain 50 cars. Maybe the building is partially underground like our Nightclub is with it's garages, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. Yeah and what about the mission design, are we forced to go to Los Santos all the time, like in every other business mission we had before?

 

If we also have to go to the city, i guess the smart move would be to buy the properties in the city, just like it always was. With Bunker and Biker businesses. Hmm if there are properties in the city, and they are the most expensive ones, then i probably buy them there. Buying the most expensive ones mostly was pretty good in the past, so i will just stick to that.

 

What do you guys think? Buy properties in Los Santos, Blaine County or Paleto Bay or maybe Chumash or something lol?

I'm buying everything in the outskirts even if there's options in the city, I'm just following the vibe of this update

I hope there is at LEAST one option north of the Alamo sea.. all we have now are two arcades a bunker and two facilities.

I think this update mechanics are giving me The Contract vibes. You do your missions to set your bussiness like doing heist-esque missions and that's it.

So, are we thinking Liquor Ace is actually gonna be the hideout? Because it certainly doesn't have any garage doors big enough for the Brickade, nor is the unused part of the building even big enough for any sort of large garage, even 10 cars would be a stretch. Then again, there's not really any bulding big enough in Blaine County. And it would be a bit weird for the juggalos to just start digging secret bunkers under Sandy Shores :kekw:

So as we hardly have a clear foresight of what the DLC is bringing to the table besides the 2-3 known new vehicles and the Acid Lab, what do you all reckon the minimum amount of $ prep should realistically be to be able to purchase the vast majority of the new content? And how much cash does everyone have?

5-8m for just the properties to unlock the new missions etc., 15-25m if you buy all day one vehicles too and upgrade everything to max.

 

I got 230m atm.

I've got 11mil so far, probably not gonna get that much more, maybe another 2-3 mil or so. It's enough to comfortably buy me in, including potential hideout customizations and stuff, and get 1-2 new vehicles. The rest I'll hopefully be able to get using the money from the acid lab, missions etc. (and I'll obviously still supplement it a bit with the other businesses)

I would say it will be similar to the nightclub. You have to set that bussiness throw "story missions". That's the difference from The Contract, actually. Cuz the Agency in itself it's not much of a sort of bussiness...you do 201 missions for it and it's done, you will not win more or less the maximum passive income. Much like the Arcades works.

I'm saying having a damn pool game, billiards, etc., 🥲 (i got the joke). Some new mini-games would be cool. I think golf is way to elitist and boring for the majoirty. Tenis, it's hard to find a partner, cuz it's that old mechanics of having to go to a lobby in order to find someone random to play with you and again, it's not for everyones taste. Darts i don't think it's for everyone taste, specially when a lot of people don't know the rules. I guess that billiards would be the taste for the majoirty since it's a popular games that almost everyone at least played once in their lifes. Arcades would also be cool, but more if they put there some PVP/Co-Op games, like a fighting game.
