GTA:SA - Your make-believe roleplay experience

Hi,

I'm still playing the original SA, with stat tweaks and my own custom sounds (weapons, explosion, punches). To make each replay unique, I used to write little 6 chapter "screenplay" about what to act out with CJ.

I thought we could share our ideas and inspire others for their own replay. I'm gonna share my most recent screenplay:

Quote

I. LS:

CJ arrives to LS as a beat-down, humiliated and poor man. His friends and remaining family are hostile to him: Reminding him all the time of his past mistakes.
Desperate to prove himself, but still weak, he ends up in trouble after trouble. He tries to cope by the following:

- Picking streetfights with random people, to prove himself.
- Modding cars, even if he can't afford it.
- Spending money on superficial, useless items, like silver chains, watches, expensive shoes etc.
- F*cking whores in his car.
- Eating junk food.
- Listening to ganxta rap (Radio Los Santos, Playback FM).
- Using ganxta weapons: 9mm, Uzi, Shotgun, AK.
- CJ tries to counter his bad spending habits with burglaries, but he f*cks it up most of the time.

- Takes his GF once to a fancy place, but after her complaining, CJ punches her, ending the relationship.

We end this chapter with an obese CJ, without money, without any significant skills.

II. Countryside:

Breaking point: He is angry, disappointed and humiliated again by the corrupt cops.
He meets Catalina and enters an abusive relationship where he is the victim. Catalina even rapes him at one point, but he tries to laugh it off afterwards.

- He buys a rundown flat near Blueberry Acres.
- Starts exercising. He has no access to a gym, so he's running through forest trails, doing uphill sprints, punching and lunging through wooden fences at the remote farm and lumber yard.
- He starts prefering motorbikes to cars because they are easier to navigate through the woodlands.
- Wears a more regular clothing to avoid getting unwanted attention.

We end this chapter with a more focused CJ, quite in a good shape, ready to kick ass.

III. San Fierro:

- CJ picks up kung-fu at a nearby gym.
- From time to time, he still beats someone on the streets if they offend him.
- Using crossbikes, he regularly travels back to his countryside hideout from where he intercepts Smoke's bike couriers.
- These drug couriers are his "punching bags" to Smoke: He takes his anger out on them, killing them in more and more vicious ways, setting up a satchel-charge barrier for them at one point.
- Keeps changing appareances (clothes, hair) frequently to stay under cover.
- After getting a silenced Pistol from Cesar, remarking that CJ is still in "ghetto mentality", he starts prefering weapons that require more time to master (MP5, Pistol SD).
- He acquires a taste for rock and metal (Radio X, KDST).

IV. Las Venturas:

CJ is like a professional mercenary at this point. He lives for adrenaline, and for power.

- Champion of illegal streetracing.
- Uses military-grade weapons, SPAS12, M4, MP5: He takes out beater cars to the desert and uses them as shooting practice.
- Monster physique, formidable kickboxer.
- Learned to control his emotions: No longer rises for negative remarks from pedestrians. Sometimes he tells them off, but mostly he doesn't give a sh*t.
- Owns a collection of sports cars and many properties.

We end this chapter with a tatted out CJ, fully muscular, armed to the teeth and very rich.

V. Return to Los Santos:

Breaking point: Sweet doesn't want to be part of this new life he built.

- Shamed into guilt, he falls back to the gang mentality.
- Wears his old green shirt again, memories coming back.
- Hunts drug dealers and enemy gang members: burning, shooting, blowing sh*t up - no mercy.

VI. Ending:

Breaking point: Doesn't matter how many drugdealers he wastes, they keep coming back.
See, you can brute-force some things in the world, but they keep resurfacing because of a deeper mechanism.
Some things you can't change.

- CJ realises that violence is not the answer.
- Never robs again, never attacks anyone again.
- Gives up all his weapons.
- Leaves all his (stolen) cars near the local police station.
- Shaves his head bald.
- He starts living for sport: competes at the triathlon events.
- With a bicycle, he revisits the important stations of his adventurous life.

Goes for a swim in the ocean and swims into the sunset.
THE END
