Fixed CSdisp a.k.a jzgirl

Howdy folks, take this as a sheer fluke because I've already forgot how to re-do it, indeed was an issue that can easily be misleading when rigging and skinning a character model (not to be excluded that it was bugged on purpose by R*).
 

  

 

 

And now some characteristics about her:

 

• She wear a dress (a strapless minidress to be precise) with color and pattern that is reminiscent of the notorius Tommy's street outfit hawaiian shirt.

 

• She is the tallest female character/pedestrian in VC, almost tall as Tommy. 

 

• Despire the code-name "CS" this isn't a Cut Scene model and only the in-game model is stored into the original VC's gta3.img; Furthermore the final release containt these models with the same female character: CSdisp, jzgirla, jzgirlb.

 

• In the NTSC-U v1.40 version of GTA:VC, though, in the file jzgirla.txd there's the texture "woman_black" the same as the character models listed above, but this time in jzgirlb.txd there's the texture "player_hi" that is the Beta Tommy with a cutscene layout. In the v1.40 both CSdisp.dff and CSdisp.txd files are missing. 

 

I was unable to inspect the v1.40 jzgirla.dff and jzgirlb.dff models because I've failed to convert them to the PC .dff format, so I can't say if there's the in-game or the cutscene Tommy model in there.

 

 

And that is all the factuality of this female character. The only speculation I'ld like to add is that maybe at some point into the game developement, Tommy and this female character was meant to be into a in-game cutscene and at least the two of them. I don't think she was just a cut pedestrian with a incorrect skinning of the skeleton.

 

The fixed model now stretches a bit the neck but I kept it as it was, if you feel like to repaint the skin weight neck area please do so and post the result here.

Very cool ped. Shame she was cut from final version, that blue dress looks good.

To be honest, I'm not sure if ones ever investigated so deep into an apparently random GTA pedestrian, so to answer your question:

No, there are no evident entries that refer either directly or indirectly to this young lady, at least that I am aware of.
However, if someone who has the leaked files from DE Trilogy and knows how to do this search, maybe can discover something new.

Since the reply, I'ld add some more impressions to this ped, being understood that they are only my assumptions and therefore to take as speculative argumentation: CSdisp has in the filename the suffix -disp. Now, how many words starts with those 4 letters in english? A few, and if we consider what I said in the OP then we would speculate that the word is "disposable".

We don't know precisely what is "disposable" about this ped, could be a "disposable character" or maybe a "disposable woman"? Was it a tv trope all along? We don't know.

I mean it`s just a lucky guess but "CS" might mean she is linked to the mission and "disposable" might mean she was a targed in some mission. Maybe the assasiation mission for Mr.Black when we have to kill the "Cheating wife". I vaguely remember a blue dress in the storefront of the shop she walked out from.
