ROCKENTEMMIEDANCE232
I know this topic already existed before, but its quite dated and I'm wondering if anyone has found better settings or these are still the best way to recreate 7th gen GTA 5? I plan on playing online. Sorry.
WindowsExPee
7th Gen compared to PC was pretty much a mix of "Normal" and "High" settings, with only 1280x720 resolution as well. Also keep in mind the 7th gen consoles (especially PS3) struggled to maintain 30 fps and would often dip into the 20s. Texture quality and Shader quality on "Normal" in a lot of places looks significantly worse on PC than the 7th gen ports, and that's just down to design. It's likely they picked and chose to maintain quality on certain textures where it's most noticeable (the "SA 88 WELCOME BACK" graffiti for example looks fine on old gen but very low-res on "Normal" PC settings). Distance Scaling on last gen would be somewhere around the lowest value on PC, but there seems to be a bug where certain props around the map literally do not spawn on low distance scaling, it's somewhat amusing when you run across characters 'sitting' in chairs that didn't spawn . justdany, D T and Rotorhead359
