That would be glorious, but I doubt we'll see this massive project come any sooner than mid 2024 at the earliest sadly.

Very outdated considering it was released 21.5 years ago. I remember playing it when it was brand new though, great times, really impacted me as a kid.

I never forget GTA on ps one, GTA VC on ps2 and 3 on pc for the first times.

Dude I would love this!!! Considering the fact Rockstar are known for being very detail-oriented with a lot of their ingame systems, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to believe this could be done.

However, it would require a ton more work and effort due to the fact that if you wanted to get real technical and correct about it the animation would have to be slightly or heavily adjusted for each car, since there are so many configurations nowadays, and cars don't all have the shift knob in the same spot, so the arm movement and positioning would have to be altered pretty much for every single vehicle for the most part. Also, some cars are automatic and some are paddle-shifted these days, so that would have to be accounted for as well. I think the best implementation I've seen of it in a game so far has been in Gran Turismo 7. Though, that is a racing-focused simulator, so it's a given.

 

The interior cam in GTA 6 should hopefully feel a lot better, it's quite hard to predict your car's handling in first person perspective on GTA5/O, along with the fact that some cars have terrible interior camera setups. Makes driving in first person not ideal for precision in 98% of situations. 

 

Unique interiors for each car model would be amazing. Definitely one of my most desired and hyped things about this.

Also, I am pretty sure we'll be seeing some characters from 5 make an appearance in VI

We got that Jay Norris mention in the Wyman clip. I don't see why not! The references can remind us of a more painful time.
