Eh, I disagree. You're right in spirit. But Rockstars last major announcements all came around the same time. It may appear random, and they may change due to different timing or circumstances. But there's a rhyme and a reason to when Rockstar announce titles, and why the last two came in October.

That was meant mostly in jest, not really seriously analysing potential patterns there - it is usually how it feels, they announce it when no one is talking about an announcement :kekw:  Which IMO are out the window and I think this October "tradition" might be gone, but that's me.

Like Italian plumbers, these dreams might be are piping...

But could Rockstar have snagged a promotional halftime slot in the upcoming super-foot-and-ball event this weekend?

No. There won't be anything at the Superbowl. Everyone wants "their game" to have a commercial.

I can tell you, with decades of experience, that one big game, or big movie, that you like, is NOT going to be there. Ever.

The forever-years-old speculation of a Rockstar Superbowl reveal would certainly be a great birthday present :prismkek: But it ain't happening, R* isn't gonna reveal a new game at a sports event of all things.

It's always when we least expect it, that's the rule :prismkek: This topic will be arguing about some random crap, or not even thinking about dates for the first time in months and suddenly bam. It was pretty much like that for RDR2 on that one Sunday.

Alright everyone start acting like you dont care and keep arguing about random sh*t, that will show em :kekw:

They have to release it then right? Righttt???

GTA is loved by all sorts of people, including those who watch sports. I extremely highly doubt that it will be revealed during the Super Bowl but basically everyone in the USA watches the Super Bowl (no, you are not special for not watching the Super Bowl, your demographic is already built in :sadkek:) so it wouldn't be some massive shock than any other GTA reveal would be.

Some of you seem to have a serious problem with a company who runs a very popular live service game actively posting about it and promoting it, as if the only thing they can post about is your beloved upcoming GTA VI. I hate using this word, but it's the most apt I can think of for a few select people - cope, lol. They will post about weekly bonuses and upcoming content, they will remind the millions of people who play GTA Online about them, they will post about all that stuff whether you like it or not - not to mention clearly those tweets aren't for the hardcore folk who are already on top of everything.

It's annoying seeing the same old sarcastic commentary about GTA Online posts especially in this thread - they run a live service game, they're gonna post about it, cry more. I say this because I know a few of you are really not joking and expect to be entitled to a GTA VI post and for Rockstar to suddenly stop talking about their current ongoing game just because YOU don't enjoy it - this has been the case for a few months now, and in some cases it's the same select people. /shrug

And if you're in that category of people, you might as well visit that other topic to bitch and moan about it.

Come on, Spider-Vice. Everyone knows Rockstar needs to only tweet about GTA 6, get with the times.

It's not about them posting their live game service nor just announcing GTA VI, its the fact that it's been 10 years since their last GTA and almost 5 years since their last game and it's bad enough it's been that long but it's even more hilarious that the live service game that you're pushing so hard only seems to have 2x GTA$ and RP bonuses almost every week, with no real content to keep people busy until you decide to announce your next project. This is one of the only live service games that don't have seasonal content, Fortnite, Apex and even Call of Duty releases fresh content every month, while R* has their big updates every 6 months to a year and in between that time it's just drip feeding cars and weekly bonuses. When's the last time RDO had a major DLC? Point is, if you're gonna make people wait this long for your next project and push your live game service so hard, give people something worth playing your live game service because right now, GTA Online is lackluster compared to other live games services and RDO is just flat out embarrassing lol

Ignoring GTAIV, RDR, Max Payne, GTA Trilogy, we've been stuck since 1999!
