People rib on Fortnite because of "the memes" but Fortnite is legitimately a well structured, dynamic online game even if you don't like its PvP gameplay lol. The events, content releases (including the FOMO stuff that many people dislike in GTAO) are all pretty well done and hyped up.

 

A live service game like GTA Online, it only makes sense that R* starts doing more events that involve the community and stuff like that. I'd definitely be cool with random concerts in GTAO2.

Especially considering, knowing the wait for GTA 7 is probably going to be about 15 years, after GTA 6 releases.

Fun fact about new GTA Online car, it's older than Jason and Lucia combined. It just goes to show again, that Rockstar is huge car enthusiast.

If they try to make the game more realistic than the previous title.. sure it will take longer. My bet is anyway that VI will be by far the biggest Game of all time in terms of realistic NPC behavior and gameplay mechanics until another one gets released. but we will see if this will be the point. but still I have no doupts from what we´ve seen in the leaked vids

I know sometimes we sound as crazy conspiracists and we tend to over scrutinize things in the Rockstar tweets BUT  could this new Broadway car be a hint to a La Habana location in VI, where this kind of old car is very common? 
It has been proved they like to put little things in the Online updates with the liveries and such.

I wish completely opposite thing, I played too much sandbox games to play another Arcade game with no depth because it is what arcade usually means, lack of gameplay depth. If I want to play Arcade game I just have old trilogy and Watch Dogs.

Arcade games get boring really quickly, and it's very visible in other genres like shooters and racing games, In games like Call of Duty and Counter Strike the fun coming from the shooting and the gameplay itself is only there for first few hours, later it just gets boring and you only play to get better. In games like Need for Speed the driving is full arcade - it's fun at the beginning but gets boring really quickly and after few hours you just play the game because you spent money on it and you want to finish the game.

I believe story mode will be realistic, while online will be arcadey. 

 

R* made a mistake by adding the slow character movement-animations to RDRO (which they fixed in september's 2019 update), I'm confident they won't repeat that again.

I think I need something that is simple to play with and with decent amount of contents (which they just function as not affect your gameplay too much)

Things like this just make so much sense. Big issue people complained about is the inflation of GTA's Economy. Having things like concerts or special events hosted in the online world give people a more legitimate reason to buy shark cards and tickets without it having a massive impact on more "regular items" like cars and weapons. Basically future proofs it as an income stream whilst being able to keep base players happy. 

 

I expect GTA + would be used to offer discounts or early access releases to these live events. And with CircoLoco Records under their belt then it would just be a no brainer to utilise that and host things like live concerts
