Pretty sure he means the development team, who thought their years of work was lost, the voice actors who thought they might have to start over or even be fired from a project they’ve been working on for who knows how long, comments like these really show just how disconnected gamers are from game development and why developers don’t want anything to do with their fan base

Kindly f*ck off with that rhetoric considering dev teams don't see the "printed money" you mention. He's talking about dev teams not corporate teams. Your game being leaked like GTA VI was, for dev teams, can be a moral disaster. They don't have the money you claim them to have to "cry on".
