I literally said in the post you quoted that if, hypothetically, VI were a 2019-'20 game, it would've absolutely been on PS4/XOne, just like how V was a PS3/360 game, but since that's not possible, it should be a current-gen only game, just like V would've been if it came out in 2016-'17. It has nothing to do with them learning from V's so-called mistakes.

Is it just me or the game feels like it's on the beta phase already? On the clips from september, near the day it got leaked, other than Lucia's hair being static and the very small clipping on her dress, everything else feels perfectly crafted already.

They restarted its development near RDR2's release on 2018, by March 3, 2021 the game was already being developed for a little more than 2 years at least.

I won’t feel surprised when VI gets announced. I lost passion towards the game. I think because  it’s been a long time, like if there’s something comes from rockstar, it just feels it doesn’t exist.

they should make it so that when you die after 5-6 star chase you respawn inside a hospital and have to sneak past the officers monitoring you to escape. Then youll end up with cops searching for you for 5 ingame days and you have to try to avoid or confrongt them when you cross paths with the police. It will be like in rdr2 when you return to a town after a massacre the police will be on high alert and will spot you when they see u

Funny you say that because I just found out the track that plays near the end of V after all these years, and turns out that is an actual song with lyrics and all

Really wonder how much bigger the graphical jump will be from RDR2 to GTAVI .

Replaying RDR2 and it looks ridiculously good still the best looking open world game imo .

Considering the games will atleast have a 6 year jump between them and a different console generation . Truly wonder how much better graphics will be from RDR2 .

some of the clips were from a 2019 build, so the game has been in development for more years, the reboot I think just made them change part of the story, or change the scale of the game, I see the game with more years of development than from 2018

How come R* is not mentioning anything about the fact that we just passed 400(!) pages in the eighth(!) part of such threads? What's more that the lot of you don't even seem to pick up on that discovery.

 

Frankly that does hurt somewhat. Boycotting would have an impact for sure but then I won't be able to play their next GTA and that just doesn't seem to be ideal for both participants.

no they cant, they are a big company and try to maximize profit, they wont share new details in the upcoming days, gamers, non-gamers, gaming media, general media, almost everyone and everthing is covering harry potter/jkr/hogwarts legacy

New games release all the time, there is no way that game will delay a gta 6 trailer.

Yeah but last year they only said "the next GTA title" and everybody talked about this, most people would switch interest if it were to happen again especially if they give details, i mean Ubisoft seriously said "Tomorrow" and then the next day posted a 20 seconds teaser of The Crew 3. Weird way to start a marketing campaign

i expect "something" on or before the 12 month anniversary of them "announcing" that the game is being made. 

For them to just go passed that date and not say anything, well let's just say I won't be impressed, and I'm sure that's enough for them to do something.
