Those are the Keys, right?

While I would completely agree with you, one of the reasons I never cared about the Keys and never got why people wanted them so bad is that you basically go down the same road each and every time. You drive there a couple of miles and once you want to go back you have to drive the exact same road again. That gets boring really quickly - at least it always has for me.

I hope they at least put something to do down there that makes the trip worth it. Many interiors and things to discover.

They're definitely going to make us drive Post Op vans all the way down there.

Edit: You damn well know it's true! And we'll probably have to load them in and out of tugboats!

Its an open world and you need variety to enforce its credibility , you cant just have super active places everywhere you go and you need places that are ''just there''. The contrast between the chaotic pace of life in a city and the natural habitats of wilderness. Of course you can have activities in the wilderness too but you need to have places away from everything else that have less or no activity. The world needs to have its own personality and not give you the feeling of catering for the player everywhere he goes. In this case the Keys are somewhere in between , they are remote but people live there and there can be activity and tourists.

I don't understand these comments. Are people seriously this oblivious as to how social media marketing and PR for online games works? Lol. This isn't meant to be a dig at anyone, it just makes me go "...what?" when I read this kind of thing.

They're reminders that certain content is active, literally every live service game with a social media presence does this kind of thing to remind players of content, of promotions, of celebrations. Not to mention Lunar New Year is *today*. I feel like some of you truly only follow GTA and no other games, and are a bit surprised that R* is starting to do things a bit more "normally" like other devs. :p

I swear this community lives in a bubble that I have never, ever seen before. You don't see people in other MMO communities saying this kind of thing when their developers post stuff on social media about current active events. I'm fully serious. I only see this kind of thing here.

-------------------

Edit: For those who seem to be missing the point so hard that it's worse than Elon Musk ever reaching Mars, I'm talking about how all multiplayer games do this stuff on Twitter all the time, Rockstar included, and YOU not caring about Online has nothing to do with what they should post or not, these posts are for the rest of the community as well. Besides, my post has nothing to do with communication about recent hacks or whatever, that's a totally separate subject and this is not the section for it.

I also got an email for this yesterday. I'm pretty sure this was made in advance and auto sent. The only people they probably have working right now, are the people trying to fix the security issue.

Fortnite, Warzone, Halo don't post their patch-notes every other day :kekw: but I guess you can't compare them to GTA so there's that

Without any leaks its really getting boring out here, we need the flow of leaks that happened in 2018 or 2019 or 2017.

You didn't upset anyone it's just that it's so weird to me seeing this contrast between parts of the GTA community, which has Online as its live service, and other online game communities. :kekw:

Yes, it's a lucky number. And the number 18 has something to it too:

18 sounds similar to "definitely get rich" in chinese so it's kind of a way to wish someone good fortune alongside all the 8's

I already complained about Rockstar's actions myself quite a bit already, especially about the Definitive Edition, but some people around here complain about every single thing possible, they're literally like: "Look! Rockstar's logo is red now instead of yellow, how dare them changing such a classic thing like that? They don't care about us. 😭😭😭"

How's the weather?

Nothing of importance today?

Maybe we're chasing the wrong rabbit.

How about Easter time, Sunday, April 9th?

I'm watching this and I'm wondering, was AI really meant to be like this or maybe all we can see in it was just scripted for a trailer?

It was scripted for the trailer most of the animations are motion captured and are nowhere to be seen in the game files

And here's a fun fact; Rockstar during the hiking/mountain clip they used small trees and placed them far away in order to give the illusion that the mountain is huge

I hope they have Football teams (soccer) in GTA 6. I want to see a team called Arsehole FC and sh*tchester United. I would love to see a game where sh*tchester United beat Arsehole FC 2-1 and allow another fictional team called 'Chelsea' to get top 4 in the league.

It's simple really.

1 + 8 x 8 = 65

Three 8's after the "," so 3 + 8 = 11

Therefore 65 / 11 ≈ 6

So you see they are just teasing GTA 6, they thought we wouldn't decrypt the number, those f*ckers underestimated us :kekw:
