Jason or Lucia let's say one of them arrives in a town in South America, and that town has no English speakers  it will make some funny mission like that.

But I do understand we reaching the point there's nothing to talk about..until Rockstar does something

Why did Rockstar mention Lunar Year anyway? Isn't it a China celebration only?

Am I the only one not seeing a deeper meaning to the Lunar New Year stuff? I think the Drug Wars rabbit might be something interesting with its color choice but as for the Lunar New Year celebration, well, not only do I see many non-Chinese companies acknowledging it, but there are Chinese Rockstar fans, or otherwise fans of Chinese descent. I don't see anything weird about them acknowledging it. I'm starved for GTA VI news as much as the next guy but this is kinda silly.

rabbit = year of the rabbit, year gta vi is announced (GTA V was announced also in year of the rabbit 2011)

gta vi logo colors (this one?)

vice city theme colors ( the colors feel 80s, gta vice city, they connect it with that)

 

another theory from a user I forgot their name is

?male = blue

?female = pink

but I don't think is this one.

Because lots of game companies (and their employees...) celebrate lots of holidays, not just local ones, especially nowadays. All online games do that basically - Overwatch has their own Lunar New Year celebration and event, so does Fortnite, so do many other games. R* has players in China as well...  

 

I could see GTA VI integrating more holidays into the mix instead of just Christmas.

i know this is a bit of a random comment. but i would love to have niko back in gta 6. i really miss him and i wonder what he is up to in the 2020s. i know i can just play gta 4. but it's not the same as having new appearances from him. i know his voice actor was upset with rockstar about the payment. but it would be awesome if they could resolve their problems. it was so cool to see john marston in rdr2. and it really makes me want to see niko again. even if it is just a stranger mission. i still consider niko to be the best protagonist of the series. i used to be a huge trevor fan. but after my more recent playthroughs of gta 5 i got more annoyed of him. I'm excited to get to know jason and lucia. but i just need more niko. i guess it's a nostalgia thing. i miss gaming in the late 2000s and early 2010s. and as soon as i think of that era in gaming. niko is almost always who i picture. all the gta online characters that rockstar create have been pretty bad lately. i feel like seeing niko again would be like bringing a piece of that amazing time in gaming back for just a little while. as long as they don't give him the johnny k treatment.

i think a lot of people are banking on early february because it will be 1 year since the announcement that the next gta was in development

 

to be honest, it makes some sense to expect the formal announcement around that time...so i hope its true

Because it doesn't make sense, like at all. So many people have access to those videos, that T2 can as well keep issuing DMCA for the next 20 years and they will still likely appear somewhere.

It’s just the same footage being re-uploaded that everyone has seen hundreds of times already probably lol , what’s the point of them continuously striking them down at this point honestly?

we might be visiting Liberty City/South America in missions. Just like Guarma in RDR2. But I hope we will have more than just Vice City and Port Gellhorn.

Max Payne 3 came out a little over a year before V, so I don't think Rockstar had much of a chance to implement some of MP3's gun mechanics into GTA V. RDR2 though, there is a lot of MP3's DNA in its gunplay. Sure slowmo gun diving isn't as easy as pushing a button in RDR2 but with deadeye and replacing the combat roll from five with a dive it is possible to accomplish. It's probably the thing that has me the most excited about VI. I really hope that the lessons learned from Max Payne and RDR2 are implemented. 

 

A couple of days ago someone asked what was the first thing we'd do when we get VI. I'm going to get into a massive gunfight then try to fly an aircraft above the RDR2 style volumetric clouds.
