someone said in the beginning this could be fake cause anyone with a printer can make this at home. But no one said it was debunked. Could be real or even fake

I would guess it debunked itself since nothing came out 11/02/22 having to do with GTA VI.

Probably because of the leaks. Rockstar said it didn't have any effect on development, didn't say anything about announcements or promotional items

I have a doubt why is there no possibility to upload images directly via any device and only through url. Isn’t there any other way to upload pics or videos directly here 😢

Upload it to Discord, share the picture, copy the link, and you should be all set

I can only imagine them using a name that is not GTA VI tho GTA (place or somthing) Def not Vice anything. Yes it's in Vice City. Tho im sure it'll be a new name not to get the Vice City game mixed up with the new game.

It'll be easier to find the new game name while searching online. They wouldn't want you to search up (Gta Vice City) & all you got was the old tittle.

So im thinking it could be on the lines of GTA Miami or something lol, we never would of guessed.

If they use GTA VI that's cool.

However they have tittles in between III IV & V i personally think it will not be called VI so what name could it be. GTA Miami Storys ? probs Miami something or a new made up name for Miami.

Hold up we know it's 2 Protagonists. GTA Jason & what ever her name is Claudia whatever. As in Bonnie & Clyde. This is if they only have the 2.

Anyway my thoughts/guess. im spit ballin.

Just for fun, no real confirmed connections lol.

Follow the white rabbit is a common saying related to drug hallucinations, and also featured in the Matrix, all based on the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.

The white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland was in a hurry.

what in the actual world even is this :kekw:

They're not gonna make Funko Pops of game characters before it's even announced, or most of its characters even properly introduced. Which would only happen much closer to release.

Been lurking these forums as a guest for the past while but made this account to give my own personal thought and speculation on why I think, And I'm sorry to say it, I don't believe we'll be getting GTA VI until late 2025/ Mid 2026.

In the Take 2 Conference call, they spoke a lot about how they were monitoring the ongoing Macroeconomic situation and that they would be adjust their release pipeline accordingly. Now people in the UK and Europe will know all too well about the current cost of living crisis and globally there is the grumblings of a 2-3 year global recession according to leading economists. Even the US is forecast to only narrowly avoid a recession in 2023, according to Goldman Sachs- so all in all its a pretty bleak outlook for the next few years.

Now Take 2 assured investors that they had great works in the pipeline and also had enough financial support from their current releases to support them in terms of 'The Wider Macroeconomic situation' and that they would assess their future releases in line with reviews of the overall global market.

It is my opinion that Take 2 understand all too well that there will be a huge dip in household disposable income over the next few years which is not an ideal time to release one of your biggest projects. Especially when you are looking to smash earnings records with it. It just doesn't make fiscal sense to release one of your most anticipated (and arguably biggest ever) releases at a period of time when you won't be able to capitalise on it as much as you would like. Given that many people just won't have the affordability to buy a $60-80 game when they are worried about heating or eating.

The entire Gaming Industry is aware that there will be a big loss of income for the next 2/3 years and studios will be having discussions and meetings internally to strategise how they are going to adapt. There's already talk in other entertainment industries like music and streaming services about how they are going to survive as households make cuts and savings. When recessions happen, entertainment products are usually the first things to go from households and judging by the language used by Take 2, they know that all too well.

People can analyse development cycles and try and work out how far away we are before the game is ready. But in my eyes that is mostly irrelevant as I don't believe the game will be released until the wider economy is through the recession and more people have more free money in their pockets to actually spend on the game. Rockstar (And Take 2) will continue milking GTO and GTA+ for income during the downturn and when things start looking up, then we get the release.

On the plus side, this means the game could be complete and ready for release in 2024, but the deliberate delay will give them 1 or 2 years to do polish and tidy ups and give them that chance to really exceed peoples expectations. I think we might get drip fed some info- screenshot here, a trailer there. But I personally am not holding out for a release date reveal until end of 2024 and expecting it to be the following year or mid 2026.

This is all obviously just my assessment and speculation so it's entirely possible I am totally wrong. Just my 2 pence

@Tez2 @Spider-Vice

Do you have any indication that, for instance, Cayo Perico and Drug Wars updates (characters, vehicles, story, missions, location, etc...) are reworked, cut content from the development of GTA 6?

For example:

- Cayo Perico island - that probably was in a finished state during development, so it was imported into GTA Online (hence the bugs - like you've discussed here);
- The Juggalo gang - which in real life has its origins in Michigan, meaning there could've been part of GTA 6 map inspired by that state? But the map wasn't finished so they adapted characters, story, etc... into GTA Online?

Do you think they were part of the Americas project, but have since been repurposed, like it was with GTA 5's single-player DLC?

So, can we expect more GTA Online "episodes" being made from cut content?

I mean, I think R* may start one day connecting dots between GTAO characters/San Andreas events and Vice City/VI events but I'm not sure there's any connection here necessarily. Unless we come to find out that Jason was a juggalo :kekw:

Cayo Perico I do have my suspicions especially as they insisted on using vegetation from RDR2 (which would have been in use in GTA VI at the time of Cayo's development - we still saw some of that in the leaked footage), and there's even a crane with a texture type that is not used in GTA V's version of RAGE at all (but is in RDR2 iirc?).

That has nothing to do with the next version of GTA. It's all about mobile gaming, and their heavy reliance on mtx because of the Zynga purchase.

When they were talking about the release pipeline, this was specifically in regards to their "Immersive Core" pipeline. The example they gave was Kerbal Space Programme which is scheduled to release on PC in the last Quarter of 2023 with Console version not releasing until Fiscal year 2024

Again, the last earnings call was all about trying to shore up investor confidence because of the Zynga assets they needed to roll, and it had less to do with any of their other pipelines, especially GTA.
