God the one interesting thing they add (ray traced reflections) in this DLC and it's not even available on PC. But this does make me wonder what ray tracing features will 6 use?

R* is simply delaying the PC update, probably because it'll be free, unlike the current-gen console versions. I'm confident that they'll implement pretty much every single RT feature they possibly can in VI, from global illumination to shadows, reflections, and all. The PC version of that game will have even more graphics options, for sure.

The ray-tracing upgrades implemented into GTAV are most definitely backported from GTA VI. The new version of GTAV on PS5/XSX uses SGA-PBR aka Rockstar's physically based rendering pipeline. First implemented with RDR2, and the PS5/XSX V version seems to be using an upgraded version.

I didn't think Rockstar would go to the length of implementing RT reflections on GTAV yet, but consider me surprised.

With PBR, you can expect bricks to look like:

I get to notice the bricks in this pic as if they were 2D compared to the one in Fortnite, which is more or less as if they had polygons because of the sensation it gives, although I know it's too early to say it because there isn't a trailer or screenshots of VI that indicate that they are half done with the textures of X things for example, although the opposite is said with the leaked videos of Jason very physically mature in what seems to be a very advanced state of development as well as Lucía in the black dress.

There's only one thing that I want in GTAV backported from GTA VI:

That was just an example from wikipedia.

You can expect them to look more like RDR2,

Maybe one day  they will add Lucia and Jason outfits, perhaps for those who have pre-purchased the game they will receive them sooner?

this can't be considered "leak" right? I photoshopped it (it's so awful:cringekek:) the pants exist in-game sort of and I guess the white shoes similar ones, I changed them a bit. Can't make the online character Lucia's shape

I can imagine it, I know that they will hire more people to 'accelerate' the development of the game, although it seems that perhaps by 2024-2025 they will be able to finish it completely to launch it first on consoles and then after several months or maybe even in the term of one year for PC.

As for the bricks, I know that their textures can leave me somewhat out of place because, as I mentioned before, they seem to me to be from PS2/PS3, although it does not matter if you have the current graphics card, it will look the same without any change in them, even if they wanted to upgrade as it happened with the trailers and screenshots of RDR2 and what a difference it was seen with its final version and we can expect the same for VI.

I know that with the budget and the number of employees that R* may have, many things can be done, for example, and no one doubts it.

There is also RAGE, which although I don't expect it to be at the UE level, which is understandable, can evolve little by little and be an impressive graphics engine that can be expanded to various things even if it takes time and budget.

If GTA VI isn't announced next year will you feel betrayed by Rockstar?

No? They don't owe me anything, I wouldn't feel betrayed. Disappointed? A lot.

Especially with this being a multi-part update which might require more patches for us to see, I wonder if this is the GTAO DLC where they might indeed start teasing VI stuff :sadkek:

4 parts of the dlc, each revealing bits of the GTA 6 logo in mount chiliad. Till the 4th part shows all of it and the day after that part is the trailer
