Just finishing up this game

I played LCS from around the start of July to the start of September 2021, beating the main story and getting most of the side missions complete before quitting at 77% due to waning interest and burn out. (Also I feared I was missing crucial missions since I swore I only had a couple side missions left to do). Then I proceeded to do Vice City in November-January(replaying 60% of the game because no one told me not to save at Cherry Popper) and start Vice City Stories before switching to 100% all the 2D era games, which took about 6 months.

Recently came back with the intent to finish. Finally got See the Sights missions done, working on Taxi. Googled and it thankfully turns out two of the only side missions I was missing (Harwood Dirt Track and Stunt Jumps) just so happens to contain a combined 21% completion between them. So I’m nearly done.

Also got the PSP version recently. Not gonna 100% it obviously(why the f*ck would I do that twice), but I will use that with adhoc party on PS3 to try out the multiplayer.

99%. Beat Taxi, Bumps and Grinds, and Stunt Jumps.

Missing something, somewhere.

Found it, never finished Car Salesman

Weird continuity fluke I noticed.

While we don't have the exact date the game starts on, we know it's after May 6th 1998, as that's the last email on the website and is from Ma Cipriani saying her son is coming home 'soon' from """vacation""". So probably sometime in May.

The manual is a news article from October 30th 1998, and while it mentions a few things like bike rampages that indicate it takes place after the start of the game(notablly the picture used is from one of the Maria missions I believe), Roger C Hole is still very much alive and well and still mayor. This implies either the first leg of the game was super slow paced and the Staunton Arc doesn't start til Halloween at the earliest, or B, there's an error of some sort in the manual or something got retconned.

Also, side note, what are the requirements in the PSP version for unlocking everything in multiplayer?

Congratulations on getting 100%. Good catch on the continuity error, looks like the date got changed sometime. The requirements for unlocking everything in multiplayer on PSP is getting 100%. It's the same for VCS. You can just download a 100% save file though and copy it to your PSP if you don't want to have to go through the entire game again.

Playing on the PSP, game got stuck loading midway through the Rollercoaster mission. I can pause it fine, but the game itself is a back loading screen. Didn’t save in ages so I’m hoping there’s a way out

Which Version do you like better?

I would have said the PSP version looked nicer, but I only learned what component cables were two weeks ago so my old opinion is not valid
