Besides there is a barrier added in "The Fastest Boat" mission, it is possible to bypass it using the crates.

I can't tell if you're joking lol, but 2.2 is the latest (hence the text in the first post saying "Current Version 2.2")...  

1.1 was the first ever release, and 2.1 is the one before the current (which is why they're under the "legacy" section).

I'm having an issue with the fourth assassination mission, "Check Out at the Check In". Whenever the phone cutscene ends (doesn't matter if I skip the cutscene or not), I get an unhandled exception just after the screen fades back in. It says the following:

Unhandled exception: c0000005
At address: 004c52a1

Interesting. I've seen this happen to somebody only once before, but couldn't repeat the behaviour. Makes me wonder whether there's something odd going on with mission order... might be worth trying another mission and then coming back.
If you want to send over your save file I could look into it further there too.

I'm now experiencing an even bigger problem: I can't pick up weapons anymore. I managed to stop the unhandled exception during the aforementioned mission from happening, but now I can't pick up the chainsaw (or ANY weapons for that matter).
EDIT: Strangely, the inability to pick up weapons problem isn't occurring on my autosave file.

That is definitely a new one on me, I'm not even sure how that's possible. If it happens after closing and reopening the game, I'd be happy to look at that save file too.

I hate to say this, but the issue is actually worse than I thought. I'm also unable to pick up other items, such as cash dropped by killed peds! Strangely, pick-ups that I can't pick up don't disappear. Also, if you've been watching my playthrough, you may have noticed that I was unable to pick up certain weapons during "Cannon Fodder" (part 5).

Aye, it's definitely very strange. There've been a lot of playthroughs I've watched at this point, and you're the first I've ever seen have something like this... so congrats, I guess.
The actual root cause of it is a real headscratcher, and I can't help but think Check In may have been a bit of a red herring or even a symptom of whatever is actually going on,

Bizarrely, killing myself seems to solve the problem. No idea why. When watching part 6 of my playthrough, I noticed that there was a pistol on a road in Ocean Beach that wasn't meant to be there. While doing some tests, I discovered that I couldn't pick that pistol up. After killing myself, that uncollectible pistol disappeared, as did all the other problems I mentioned!

This mod is a godsend. Not long ago went on nostalgia trip and 100% vanilla VC. Thought it was kinda easy and boom - youtube recommends this. Long story short got my VC enjoyer outfit :D 

1)It was a surprise to see my face expression at the end of G-spotlight haha

2)too bad you didnt change some mini-games. For example two at the dirt track could start like you have already beaten them 3 times. With barrels, rain(or even snow? >:))  and npcs. And in cone crazy I would make countdown timer like 4 seconds from the start (and maybe add snow >:D).

I still plan on finishing of those remaining side-missions eventually, but I'm a little more focused on 'Tightened Thrice' at the moment...

Hey i've problem this mod when I change screen resolution 800x600 I see it as running window while I removed two files widescreenfix also, i start new game it crashes with loading so you would help me please?

At least not for a very long time, SA would be a ridiculously sized project, something I just don't have the free time for at present; plus I'm currently waist deep into development on 'Tightened Thrice'.

I am here just to say good luck. You are trying to edit the file which contains thousands of script lines and only one mistake will break the save file and whole progress of the player. Great project and congratulations :)

@_Rob_ Man, you should make a patch or something for the mod as quick as possible, as the cash/guns dissapearing bug affects save icons and sometimes revenue icons as well, and keeps getting worse. Now, I'm no programmer, but this probably has something to do with the Main.scm, as a save icon can dissapear even after a phone call. I know that the main priority right now is Tightened Thrice but you know. Also, one more tiny suggestion: At least give us 25 seconds on the first section for the Shootist, cuz it's damn impossible to do. Pretty please!

You say that as if it's a massively widespread thing that, so far that doesn't seem to be the case and occurs late-game, if at all (which complicates things). I've been looking into it since I was first alerted to it last week, but have yet to find any reason behind it (and have not been able to replicate).

I have a hunch that it's an object limits issue, and that the further people get towards completion the more icons appear and therefore disappear when the limit is reached (which would also explain weapons not dropping). Without being able to recreate it, testing the theory is tough, but I may end up just releasing a patched exe anyway hoping for the best.

As for The Shootist, lol nah, good luck with GTA Aim Lab!

Hmm, well it's nothing I've done deliberately. It's possible that script doesn't work due to other included scripts, or the fact TV uses a modified exe, but I'm not entirely sure.

Need help guys

 

While trying to launch the mod, I faced multiple problems:

> When I launch the game from an unchanged folder - 'mss32.dll not found'

> Got an mss32.dll from a third-party website - 'the procedure entry point _AIL_set_stream_volume@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library (path here)\gta-vc.exe"

> Got an mss32.dll from another working (modded) VC build - 'unhandled exception c0000005 at address 00652d8b'

 

Deactivating scripts by messing up their extensions led to no result. Please help
