For some reason 'Checkout at Checkin' don't crash if I get wasted/busted before triggering & I go there at around 7am.

As both missions are ones that spawn in pickups, it seems like the issue could be a lack of memory in the pickup pool. Collecting hidden packages and/or doing rampages will free up memory, which should fix the issue if I'm correct.

Well they appear to be regular round markers, but I will try getting the hidden packages & report back!

Collected some hidden packages & that seemed to have fixed the issue!

I also get the crash after the "Check in at the check out" cuscene but collecting hidden packages or doing rampages doesnt work for me (i collected like 2 packages and did 4 rampages).

 

Besides that i didn't find any bugs or had any other problems with the game. I have so much fun with it and really have to thank you make vice city alive again.

because the main.scm is pc version,

so it doesn't have a corresponding button

my team has two branches,

one is to translate high-quality mods of PC into our language, and the other is to port the mods to PE.

In fact, we are translating your mod too my friend

If somebody was willing to do so, I guess... seems unlikely though, and even then I'd be hesitant to include it officially given I couldn't confirm the quality myself.

Sounds like the typical Windows DEP issue with VC. I'd suggest either disabling DEP, adding Tightened Vice to its exceptions or installing one of the 'NoDEP' plugins.

Tightened'reas is definitely coming, but it's certainly not going to be "soon". No sense in pushing something out half arse and rushed!

This should  work with all international versions of the original VC (not DE or Mobile, and it never will).
The game will now autosave into slot 7 after every mission passed.

• Overhauled weather, traffic and ped systems that make VCs streets an even less friendly place to be.
• Every hidden package has been relocated.

Gonna need a lot more information than that if I'm gonna be able to help. For example, do you have other mods installed, are you playing with frame limiter on, which OS are you using etc etc

Interesting, then it's definitely the first time I'm hearing of an issue with that mission. Does the mission work as intended if you don't skip the cutscene, and has it happened more than once?

Oh, then this is all part of the pickup memory issue. Clearing some pickup slots by collecting packages, doing rampages etc should help.

Played a five hour chunk of this today and had some killer moments - the jumping taxi is a total standout, hidden missions are neat, and it’s cool to grab some new properties, too.

 

The context-specific outfits like the busted prison threads and wasted skull-head are great touches. Not sure if you’re totally finished with work on the mod but those situational moments really breathed some life into getting busted and “breaking out” or just dying.
 

Haven’t seen the Hotel clothes pickup since it spawned me in a featureless Diaz mansion after I was trying to wipe a wanted level mid-mission but it is meant to be a difficult mod, after all.

 

Definitely think I have to move to m+kb for the rest of this, though - the vigilante missions are gonna murk me until the end of time if I don’t.

 

Highly recommend giving this a shot to anyone interested in replaying a great game with a fresh set of pretty (so far) sweet changes.

I've Been getting this weird Unhandled Exception during the mission "The Party" Where Tommy drives Mercedes to Pole Position Club.

 

The mission starts out normally but when Tommy kills Mercedes's Exes and Cutscene appears where Mercedes goes inside a club. As soon as it ends it shows "Unhandled Exception" 

 

Tried to fix it myself by choosing other windows versions but it didn't help.

Nope, actually I've tried using normal windows 10 but shows the same error. And I used vanilla 1.0 version of the game with no mods installed. Maybe I'll try reinstalling

I actually quite fixed it partially, i deleted the "d3d8.dll" and now the error doesn't show but the game crashes during the loading screen... Idk how to fix this tho.
