Very short mission, the gameplay is hard in the first try but challenging, lastly the plot makes no absolute sense since cutting through the ambush thing. Overall result is fair, I would like to say that you should put some more creativity & efforts to your mission design next time. 1.67/5

it's not that I dont want to put it any effort but I hate the risk of putting much effort without any feedback. there was a particular dyom I spend much time doing . I asked for feedback. I did not get any response so let's see what the next motw has to offer.

Hey!

 

I didn't play your mission, but i saw a blueprint. It's very short, and not too many cutscenes. Expand a history a little bit, tell a story - do a meeting or something, that takes longer in a cutscene. Then, do a checkpoint to go to "Some Place", and another cutscene about making something work. Then, after the cutscene/s make a objective, with enemys or something, and then you can end it with cutscene again or do a car chase or whatever you want.

- Too fast action going on here. You could expand dialogues a little bit, more cutscenes as I said before. Dialogue between Worker and President should be longer, more informative, then before SWAT member would call for an ambush, you could make a cutscene of enemys closing up to the base, and then do this and you should also spend more time on your mission.

Mission Passed

 

- Well, a boring mission indeed, second reason why I didn't played it but looked at the blueprint. You could basically do more advanced mission my G. Do better story. Make it longer. Do a car chase or something. You should start accepting criticism, if not you're not going to go anywhere.:) Don't be disrespectful, if somebody's giving you an actual feedback. I didn't play that mission because honestly, it looks weak. And here it was, feedback for it to improve it. I also didn't had big expectations seeing your previous works, blowing up my PM's. Also I feel mission like that was done in a rush to just attend MOTW. I can play it, for sure - but then it would probably have alot of more minuses and it looks unatractive to play. Sorry.

 

And I didn't rate other missions by points, or something. You wanted feedback, you've got it on your mission :) I'm not here to vote too.

 

And lastly, I can play it, but trust me it will have alot more minuses.

I played it. You wanted it, and don't regret it.

 

Well..

 

It's a big pile of mishmash that's how i would sum it up.

 

Pluses:

- Cutscenes (not too many, but atleast cutscenes)

- Health on the enemies, headshots on/off

- Time limit, wave mission (nice try at least)

 

And that's the end of pluses. Now the minuses

- Enemy accuracy is too high (for those on a ground level), for an unexperienced DYOMER he would rage quit if he would play your mission + the weapon choice of enemies with that accuracy it's just unplayable for some.

- Small amount of enemies on the helipad, lots of cloned enemies (with same skins) on the ground below with 100% accuracy, trust me - its not enjoyable.

- There's no plot whatsoever - president out in (i don't know even what is this, a factory or something) doing a secret meeting, then bunch of guys appear not even a helicopter on the helipad(WTF) or atleast cutscene explaining where they actually came from, then battle starts and it ends just like that with president running away. I wouldn't make him run away, I would make another cutscene, thanking the other SWAT members for defending the president.

- Weapon choice of ground enemies it's just unfair to be honest.. They're outpowering swat with shotguns and they skills (the heck they got them from?) instead it should be the other way around

- Some swat members should have "Must Survive" on, atleast a swat leader or something

- After you kill all the enemies in a very fast time, you need to still wait for the time to run out. I wouldn't program it as a wave mission, but instead a mission "Kill the leader of the ambush" of something, and then it would instantly skip to the next sequence.

- Helicopter appears out of nowhere in the last cutscene, not everybody gets in to the chopper in time.

Sorry man, that's a harsh reality. Watch some more tutorials, grow your skills. I wish you will be much better in the future. And now you've got your answer on why i dont record, nor play your missions that you blow up my dm's with. If they will look good, or better according to blueprint i'll try them out for sure, but these man? C'mon. You are better than that.

 

And if you're wondering - I didn't give you 1, or 2/10 because i'm realistic. They might give you 1.5/10 to cheer you up, but sometimes you need a cold water :) You fix these mistakes, i'll rate higher next time :) Also, it's quite weird why they don't give you a more realistic, in-depth feedback, but instead they just cheer you saying that the mission is fair which i don't agree, but everybody votes are different so and i totally agree with your previous words on why you don't give effort to your missions, you responded: Because they don't give me a feedback to improve on - so here it is, hope it helps you.

Alright I played both missions and I wanna spread my opinions on the entries.

 

FIGHT FOR YOUR PRESIDENT

What I liked about it:

* Cool concept for the theme.

* President having health bar, so it gives the player a challenge of watching him out while dealing with enemies.

What I disliked:

* Too freaking hard mission. Like it's impossible to beat the mission without using cheats or mods. 20 enemies, most of them holding shotguns with %100 aiming accuracy.

* Very short mission in general. I mean, dude at least you could make it so during the first ambush, there will 10 terrorists, then another wave of them appeared as you were defending then there could be a section where you have to escort president while he is getting away on car. Making missions longer will actually make it more engaging then having one section of defending against 20 John Wicks.

 

In general, the mission is not long enough to make it worth playing and even with one small section of gameplay, it's impossible to beat it. I know it's boring to play a mission which is too easy but you need to balance the difficulty in way where it could be possible to play through your mission so the player wouldn't need to retry it from the beginning for the 10th time.

And one more thing. When you're competing in a competition, you will need to show everyone what you are capable of, right? Here, you just threw in some basic stuff together and called it as an entry. You'll need to actually put some effort man. Check out how other people's creations look like so you could get some ideas about making an interesting one by yourself and remember, criticisms are usually not very pleasing but you gotta consider listening to them.

What I liked:

* Great cutscenes. I liked it how you tried to make them cinematic in some ways.

* Cool dialogues so you get to know what's going on and what's the deal.

* There is some effort into the mission which makes it acceptable such as the use of 'objects' (like the guns in Randy's own house) or the fact that there is a scene where it shows the bomb is actually being placed by Randy.

What I didn't like:

* The action part was not really impressing. Four people fighting you bare handed and one random dude has a pistol while you're demolishing them with M4. You could have added more guards around the place who actually have guns.

* Even though it's longer than the other participant, it's still not that long enough to be amazing. In general, you go there, then you go to another place, kill bunch of people, blow it up, run away from cops, Done. At least, the killing part could have been longer if there were more guards or people to deal with.

* The ending part doesn't make too much sense in terms of a real world situation. I mean, a literal terrorist enters the airport, gets on plane and goes away? Well, I think this criticism can be ignored but you could make it so he would escape on a boat or his friend Joey sending him a helicopter or something.

 

With all of its problems, I gotta say the cutscenes were well made so in terms of storytelling, you did great but just like FIGHT FOR YOUR PRESIDENT, you needed to expand the mission, so it won't be short.

 

At the end, my vote goes to Das Töten. Once again, all these criticisms were my opinions so I could be wrong or maybe I went too far on some of the stuff.

Both of you tried to show what you got on your hand for this week and that's great! 🤝

thanks for the feedback . lets see the next mission for 220. To be honest I don't have too much time on my hands due to my work but the feedback is a fuel to sacrifice much time on the game  to make it much better before releasing it however I  still  want you to vote  your heart out which is the better game of the two in your opinion. The only problem I  recently have with the DYOM mission maker is  me using so many actors in the game  on cut scenes leading to a game freeze making it impossible to test the game. I still cannot solve that issue. I also feel making a longer cut scenes from the beginning will make the game frustrating to replay if you lose the mission because you cannot skip it so I rather will focus on putting more cut scenes on the mid game and endings. the beginning will have some cut scenes . Not too long but straight to the point. Horus publishing send me a link to some of your games

Well first of all, you can skip cutscenes while playing the missions, right? Secondly, the main point of the cutscenes is to let the player know what's going on and what's the plot and the characters' introduction. You can't just suddenly jump into the action without knowing much about the situation. On the other hand, cutscenes shouldn't be that long to the point you will spend 10 minutes watching characters talking and the actual gameplay would be finished in like 2 minutes. (I have seen missions like this a lot 🤐)

You can't skip cutscenes on a dyom mission.
