sungi Posted October 19, 2022 Share Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) Maybe a stupid question, but I just got a ps5 I have a physical copy of GTA 5 for the ps4, do I need to pay to get the upgraded ps5 version? Do I also have to buy the Gta Online for ps5 ? blacklemon173 Posted October 19, 2022 Share Posted October 19, 2022 Both the PS5 and PS4 versions are treated as separate games, so yes, you need to buy the PS5 version. There is no free upgrade, even if you already own a PS4 copy. Online costs as well but can be bought separately. So you can either buy Online only or buy it together with Story Mode.
