GreatScott04
I've always hated the aesthetics for the handguns in GTA, and found some brilliant mods for replacing the models of the pistol, vintage pistol, and heavy pistol in SP. I've just started my first play of Online, and I'm already sick of seeing that stupid scope on the heavy pistol. I know mods in Online are frowned upon for obvious reasons, but is there any way to get OpenIV working when online?

OpenIV needs ScriptHookV to work, ScriptHookV doesn't work online and even if it did, the game would detect the modifications and it would prevent you from going online with them with the "You are trying to go online with a modified version of the game" error. I don't know if there are ways round that but if there are, you won't find the answers on this forum as it doesn't allow online modding under any circumstances. GreatScott04
Ah, didn't realise it needed ScriptHook to work and can understand why R* don't allow .asi files in online. Found myself in a lobby the other day with someone who was obviously using hacks, literally carpet bombing whole neighbourhoods at once. Pissed me right off. I might be wrong there thinking about it. OpenIV needs the asi loader, which isn't ScriptHookV. Sorry about that, it's a long time since I last played and my memory isn't great now. But saying that, it would still trigger the "Modified version" error.
