constant lag spikes?

So bit of background I played gta through epic games for about 2 months never had to mess with any setting graphics were great no lag spikes perfect. Recently got a PS5 controller which I could work through gta 5 epic games launcher so bought the game again through steam. The game constantly lagged and the graphics were terrible. I refunded the purchase and found a way to make ps5 controller work through epic games of course in the process I had to delete and redownload. But I'm still having the same issue. Which I didn’t have prior I've tried changing the gta setting updating my drivers etc etc. nothing works Does anyone know a fix for this as I have been tinkering for days

R* messed something up with the latest dlc.
everyone has these issues.

you will have to wait for the next Patch/DLC

Hi, 

 

thought I’d give an update to anyone with the same issue I at first did think it was just gta, but I noticed it was just as bad in other games as in the thread above I haven’t been having this issue for long I’ve only had the PC for 2 months. So I tried everything to get it to work like graphic drivers update, graphics card update, wallpaper background, game bar presence writer, changing games to run as administrator, removed full window optimisation, disabled game mode, disabled Xbox game bar, made sure no application were running in the background, changing graphics in gta and advanced graphics,l etc etc. turns out it’s was the new windows 11 update 22h2. Whenever it was buffering stuff that was highly intensive it would stutter.
